We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Rocks blocking shots on guys with dreadlocks

i feel like the brain kenny douchebag tried to blow this thing up for more than it really is. the nba writer david thrope was like "this is just a case where a guy not being careful and taking some supplements he got at the store without having an expert check it out". but then kenny comes in with the oh we've heard this whole line before maybe he was on some real stuff and is trying to cover it up. honestly I dont really care too much about this story and think the other message boards are blowing it out of proportion. we'll get by these first 10 games anyways just fine. |

Well, we're disappointed because we lose him for 10 games to start the season. However, I do believe him that it was an honest mistake. Like you said, the supplement he tested positive for isn't really "needed" for someone like Rashard. At least, I couldn't see him purposely choosing that substance to cheat with when there would be so many BETTER choices... |

Upon hearing of this I immediately thought it was an honest mistake because he didn't realize a banned substance was in a supplement he took. And that's what happened. Mistakes happen and I believe he didn't mean to take the banned substance. Rashard is an honest guy. Yeah it will affect the team but we still have Nelson, Carter and Howard. Plus, now it gives Barnes a chance to show what hes made of. Everything happens for a reason |

Yawn. I love how ESPN makes an enormous deal about it. They are in love with the "performance-enhancing drug" story lines. They beat it to death with the MLB and now this is their outlet to move to other sports like the NBA. No one really cares about this. It will be forgotten by mid-season, as long as ESPN doesn't keep bringing it up. Their headline on ESPN.com says that Lewis is "banned." Everything they do is for dramatic effect and it gets annoying after awhile. They are extremely irresponsible with their news reporting sometimes. |

When I saw "Rashard Lewis Suspended After Testing Postitive for Banned Substance" go across ESPN's bottom line, I suspected he was unknowingly taking female hormones. Because at least that way, his inability to block out and dunk hard would make some sense. |

Agree with everyone. Hope this is just an honest mistake from him, time will tell. We will be ok, but definetely it will have some impact in the final seedding for the playoffs. I just thought of a possible starting line up and Dwight is the only starter remaining from the team that went to te finals! LoL. I still like the moves we made this summer and hope that Bass, Anderson, Barnes, Petrious and Gortat make the most out of these extra 32 to 36 minutes a game that will be there during the first 10 games. I think depending on that, we will see Shard back either at the 3 or the 4. |

You look so stupid with that post. DHEA is in quite a few supplements at GNC, not just GNC, but a s**t load of other places also. |
