We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Some key members of Cleveland front office feel Mike Brown was badly out-coached by Stan Van Gundy, according to sources.

One source said Cavs management wasn't only disappointed in the losses, "but equally disappointed in the (two) wins" in a series that went six games.

It is believed that owner Dan Gilbert is among those who thinks the Cavs need an upgrade on the sidelines, while general manager Danny Ferry is standing strongly behind Brown.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News filed a similar report and suggested a big name such as Pat Riley could be possible for the Cavaliers.

No one took Brown seriously as a very good coach. He only won COTY because of LeBron.

I just don't think he's a big-time coach, and the Cavs winning a title this year still wasn't going to convince me or many others of it either.

The COTY curse seems to continue...

and I didn't have myself convinced since Day one that the Cavs are so much elite as the Boston Celtics with championship mirage. If we win the championship this year, then people will think that the Cavs won so many games because of door-mat teams who were their opponents from the regular season and the playoffs.

I forget which game it was during the Magic/Cavs series, but it was during a timeout LATE in the game, they showed the Cavs bench and you see an ASSISTANT coach diagramming a play with the team huddled around him and Brown on the OUTSIDE looking in. What "Coach of the Year" doesnt draw up the plays in a crucial spot in the playoffs!?
