Any Celtics fan that isn't an idiot feels the exact same way about Hedo and/or JJ as well.

Good point.

Rocks blocking shots on guys with dreadlocks
well apparently if you wasted 10 minutes of your life watching these idiot old guys on the sports reporters talk we should be lucky we even made the second round because apparently all our players hate our coach and dwight and hedo hate each other because they both think their the go to guy on the team. i guess watching 12 playoff games of the magic makes ppl experts on our team nowadays . oh and its remarkable how far boston has gotten without KG apparently and i bet if you mentioned jameer's name to them they would respond with a dumbfounded look on their face

Howard Sees Celtics in Cereal Bowl
Posted May 17, 2009 3:00PM By TIM POVTAK (RSS FEED)

Because Dwight Howard is so big and strong and powerful – with the chiseled body of a granite statue – sometimes we forgot there still is a goofy young kid simmering inside.

And that was never more evident than Saturday.

On the eve of the biggest game of his NBA career, his first win-or-go-home playoff Game 7, in the great city of Boston, on the storied parquet floor, amidst the wonderful Celtics mystique, Howard found a different motivational tool that may carry his Orlando Magic to victory.

He found it in his cereal bowl.

"The word of the day is DOMINATE,'' Howard said Saturday after practice. "True story: I was eating Alpha Bits for breakfast this morning, and the first scoop I picked up, it was right there: D-O-M-I-N-A-T-E. I said this is crazy, so I put it back down, picked up another scoop, and again it said DOMINATE. So I stirred the whole bowl up, picked up another scoop, and it still said DOMINATE. It was telling me something.''

This is the guy who loves wearing his Superman costume. He uses Black Magic as his wrestling nickname. He doesn't even pretend to be grown up and serious all the time. He still eats sugar coated cereal for breakfast.

He keeps comparing Game 7 in the NBA to the NCAA Tournament, something he never played in but still wishes he did. Tonight's game will be his chance, and that brings a smile to his face.

"I don't know too much about history. I'm so young. I do know records are made to be broken, and sometimes history is rewritten,'' he said. "Things happened in the past, but something different could happen in the future. We can do this. We believe we can. There is no pressure. You go out and play 48 minutes with energy and effort, and you can win Game 7.''

Pregame Update: Magic-Celtics Game 7
By Dan Savage
May 17, 2009

BOSTON -- It all comes down to tonight.

After 82 regular season games, a playoff series victory over the Philadelphia 76ers and six postseason contests against the Celtics, the Magic’s Eastern Conference Finals aspirations hang in the balance of Sunday’s decisive Game 7 in Boston at 8 p.m. ET.

That’s a lot of pressure for an Orlando team with a lot of young players.

But if Sunday’s shootaround was any indication, they’re not getting overwhelmed.

Instead they appeared loose, yet focused on the task at hand; the same approach that won them 59 games during the regular season.

And that’s what Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy appreciates about his squad heading into tonight’s winner-take-all contest.

“I like my team in any game,” Van Gundy explained. “I think our team plays with great confidence. We’ve got good balance and a lot of guys who can get the job done.”
