I'm no salary cap expert, but it looks like we would get 7.5 million off the books. But Devos already said he wouldnt go over the luxury tax threshold which I've heard may drop next year, currently around 71 million i think. Poor little billionaire must be suffering like the rest of us in this tough economy.

Looking at this it makes me realize that Otis is a lot worse then we give him credit for.

Anyways, I'm putting my money on Hedo staying here and playing out that last year. In that case, I say trade him...and MP...and Reefer to get a true 4...and then re-sign Gortat if the price is right.

Sounds like a plan to me, I'd sure like to have a power forward with a bit of power.

I think a couple of interesting guys would be McDyess, R. Wallace, Artest and Boozer. All are unrestricted and Boozer has a Player option he could use.

What ya think? We need big, defensive minded and physical players. I think all fit the bill.

Rocks blocking shots on guys with dreadlocks
birdman is a awesome big off the bench but there is no way i would ever want to see him starting. he's a high energy guy but watching denver play he is prone to picking up fouls at a pietrus like rate. i doubt houston is gonna let artest bolt, they seem to be in love with him now. mcdyess is my personal favorite to get, he is exactly what we need at the PF spot.

I'd love to get Boozer but he's a Max guy and I don't know how we can afford him. Plus he's had some injury issues, and that would be a huge risk. I like the idea of getting Artest, he can play the 3 and you can keep Rashard at the 4. He's a lock down tough defender and the type of player this team could use, no question. I do love McDyess as well, you can get him a lot cheaper obviously then the other guys I've mentioned and he would a toughness to this team that is needed.

I think we should keep Turk but not if it keeps away from other team needs. What I'm saying is I think we need a starting PF that will get in the trenches and bust you in the mouth when need be and grab some rebounds so Dwight isnt left all alone to do the dirty work. Thats what I think this team needs most.

Mr. Anderson
I'm still on the fence on Hedo. If he keeps playing like that in the ECF, I say break the bank to resign him.
