ESPNEWS just made it official. Rafer Alston is Suspended for Game 3. On a side note, so is Derek Fisher for the Lakers.

I'm suprised Fisher got suspended. I didn't quite think that was worthy of a suspension. He didn't go for the head, didn't seek out Scola, took his shot during play, and got thrown out during the game. That's a bit harsh in my opinion, but Stern's gotta do what he's gotta do.

rafer definately deserved it. just plain stupid. one plus is that he has more time to practice layups.

and fisher shouldn't have been suspended..looked like a little bit of the foreign flop in the mix of that .

If Lue can make layups, I'll be pleased.

We can win without Rafer. My concern is toughness, if dwight can't develop a mean streak nobody can. There has to be alot of hard fouls no easy baskets the problem is nobody wants to get their elbows dirty.....I know I didn't want him before but what is Artest's status for next season and can we afford him? Lewis giving Rondo daps after the hard foul AT THE END of game 2 is just ridiculous.

wow pitbullz..i had the same thought about artest..he has cleaned up his act(with comparison to the past), and would really be such an asset to this team, and dwights future. we need a guy on dwights side to help him develop toughness. at this point houston has no reason to give him up.
get rid of turk and bring in someone to give this team an edge..artest, varejao, and heck even za za pachulia is tougher than any guy on our team.

i noticed the lewis apology at the end..there are no sorry's in the playoffs..it's a sad thing to say that redick is probably our toughest player out there.

I love Rafer, nice point guard, but damn he can' finish when he gets to the hole and his shooting is just god awful. Hopefully AJ can knock his shots down tonight and we can get something out of Lue.

I think Rasheed Wallace would be a perfect fit. Dump Hedo, sign 'sheed for two years, and then Lewis can play his natural position at the 3.

Agreed Sheed is the perfect fit for our team. But he is on the decline of his career. I don't want his a** on our team long-term. I don't see Otis going for him though.

"Part of it is being a a man," Alston said. "Sometimes you don't back down to certain things. I'd probably do it again."

just think how much of a different situation it would be if he just gave him a little shove and got in his face. i am not sure how "manly" a slap is.

Hahahahaha. I can't believe he said that.

He slapped (yes, slapped) someone in the back (yes, back) of the head. That's a girl scout attack if I've ever seen one.

Derrick Fisher's foul was a man's foul.
