We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Biggest free throws of JJ's life. We won that game somehow, but the team should not be happy. That was embarassing. |

What a disappointing night overall despite the win. IDK but what I saw is absolutely horrendous! What happened? |

On the plus side, we should be in for a very memorable SVG post-game press conference. |

Refs really killed us there in the second quarter, not that the Celts really needed any help. Our guys just played awful. Hats off to Pietrus, who played the whole game with the fire the others lacked. Hats off to Lewis, who found his shot again. Hats off to Redick, who was clutch. The rest really let me down today. |

I blame Stan for sticking to the 3 ball.

Hedo doing everything possible tonight to hand this game to Boston. Taking circus shot layups. Terrible 3 point shots. Missing Free throws. And oh yea, an 8 second violation with 34 seconds left! Thats all.

Definitely not weird. Redick played AWESOME defense. You could see him flying around the court the whole game. When Redick was out, Pietrus was roughing Allen up (he kneed him in the balls at one point). I'm very, very happy with our SG play tonight. |

Despite not shooting any free throws in the first half, and JJ getting 4 freebies in the closing seconds, the Celtics still out free-throwed us by 5. Not to often you see a stat like that. |

Agreed. I wince when he gets the ball late and is asked not to mess up. |

Not often you see the 8 second backcourt call when the player has one foot over the midpoint line. The refs weren't even hiding it at the end. I got 4 calls from Bulls fans at the end of the game, each one saying, "Now you know how we feel. The refs are being asked to make the games interesting." |

I wasn't happy, but I never doubted a win tonight. Not for a second. Negatives: 18 point leads and 28 point leads are our kryptonite. Against Cleveland, we had better not get a 38 point lead All kidding aside, this team just can't play with a big lead. I have no idea why.Shot selection after "28" - Why in the world do you shoot non-stop 3's when you have driven down their throats all game long? This needs to be corrected again. Anthony Johnson - He did hit 2 3's, but other than that he absolutely killed us. Another game like that and we have to look at Lue. Officiating in the 2nd half - Boston started getting every call (My gosh how many times did Rondo foul Alston on that dive play?) Positives: Everything up to "28" - My gosh we can't play any better that that. Rashard Lewis - Played better than the box score says. JJ Redick - Excellent defense, clutch FT shooting and out played Ray Allen Mickael Pietrus - Shot very well, drove the ball well, and played great D Very happy with the win though. I fully expect us to play angry in Game 2 and get a win a little easier on Wednesday. |

It's true. I'm surprised the Celtics didn't want Rondo to shot every possession because they were going to try their best to put him on the foul line. |
