It's amazing you don't hear anyone calling for Rondo's head on TV, eh? Total BS. I think neither should be suspended, but they both had blows to the head. The difference was that Rondo's was more violent, did damage, and was at a critical point in the game. |

Because the NBA loves the C's and hates us. Seriously if Dwight gets suspended, then Rondo better get the same treatment or there will be hell from Orlando fans. |

Magic’s Courtney Lee leaves game with injury ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Orlando guard Courtney Lee left Game 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night after taking a blow to the head. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Lee took an elbow to his head from teammate Dwight Howard early in the first period. Howard soared to block a shot by Willie Green on the play and came down on his teammate. Lee was on the floor for a few minutes before going to the locker room with a towel to his head. Orlando won Game 5 91-78. The Magic said the starting shooting guard’s status for Game 6 is questionable. Lee, a rookie from Western Kentucky, averaged 15.7 points through the first four games. Well I don't know about you guys, but hearing these guys at halftime of these shows has really got me fired up. Im almost about the point where I want to beat them Thursday without Dwight (but not really), just to shut these people up. I'm ready to rally behind this team now. I hope Gortat and Battie explode on them and Rashard and Turk lead the team to victory. Who would have thought we could get an us against the world mentality for the Philly series? They'll suspend Dwight, nothing well ever be said about Rondo's foul, and that's the way these guys on TV want it. I was hoping to get to sleep early tonight, but that's not going to happen. |

Stern would be a moron to let one of the leagues biggest stars to get suspended in a playoff series. If it happens, I'll be so f**king mad but it will be so f**king sweet beating them with TB4 and Gortat roaming the middle. |

The rule states that if you elbow somebody, you should be ejected. It doesn't say anything about a suspension for the next game, unless I'm missing something. We'll see what happens. I disagree with the rule. This league has really gone soft since the 90s. But if the rule says that a player should be suspended for a game, then Howard should be suspended, but so should Rondo. Grabbing a player in the face during a crucial moment in the game and not making any play on the ball. He should get one game also. |

I dont see the league suspending Dwight fora playoff game....especially one where it is on national television. Dwight keeps the ratings up when Orlando is playing. TNT would be pissed because if Dwight is suspended, ill bet 120% that the ratings wouldn't be as high as if they would be if he was playing. NBA might care about safety, but to me, their number one concern is their ratings and money! I feel safe about Dwight playing game 6. **pen and paper ready, just incase i have to write a letter to Stern's fat a**!!** |

i don't know how i see this dwight thing turning out. i don't know if Dwights at the superstar status (in their eyes) where he can get away with murder yet. I'm hoping for the best, but i'm expecting the worse. game was great last night. best crowd i've ever been apart of. interactive the whole game. alot of "Refs, You Suck" chants (best part is David Stern was in the building). IT was just a fun night. I'm now 2 for 2 when i go to a playoff game this year. |

It seems like Dwight will be suspended. If this team can finish Philly off without him, it would be all the sweeter. If it goes to Game 7, Howard will come back with a vengeance. |

In both games, there were big missed calles. Rondo slapping Miller in the face is a flagrant foul, no question about it (it's still the right play by Rondo, though). Likewise, Dwight's dirty shot on Dalembert warranted an ejection. It was cheap, dirty, and totally intentional. At least Rondo can argue that he was just reaching out trying to commit a foul and wasn't neccessarily aiming for a face. I wouldn't believe it, but that argument has a chance. What Dwight did was uncalled for, and frankly, I lost a little respect for him. If he has a problem with someone, then get in his face and tell him. Throwing an elbow into the side of his face when he's not looking and then running away like a little girl... that's pathetic. A suspension will come, and it is deserved. |
