With the emergence of Lee and a healthy Nelson, we could survive just fine without Turkoglu.

If we get Turk back, that's great and we keep our core intact.

If he walks, to be honest it might be an addition by subtraction. Lee is stepping up as a scoring option in the playoffs. Turkoglu also has the mobility of a slug sometimes, which kills us on transition defense. If we can get a legit PF and move Shard over, we might be a much better team overall.

I agree however which PF or other big man can we get?

Let him walk. I really wouldn't mind Turk leaving. This series with the Sixers have convinced me more that we should just look for help for Dwight elsewhere. Let Jameer and Alston handle the playmaking duties. Put Shard on SF and look for a legit PF.

If Turk leaves... we better get something in return. Not just cap space.

That's the question, my friend. Here's a list for you to peruse:

Honestly, I have no idea how much money we'll have, but I can see us getting someone good who is a bit older to bolster us as we enter our new stadium. Someone like Lamar Odom would be absolutely perfect for me if we have enough cash.

I think for the most part we are all in agreement that we could live without Turk in the line up. If orlando lets him walk then I think we could land Odom who's starting role is in jeopardy in LA with Ariza, Pau, and Bynum in the Frontcourt playing ahead of him.

IMO he would compliment Orlando, he can match what Turk gives us and then some with his ability to block shots. I dont want to get too ahead of myself here but:

?: If they're still here

Howard/Battie?/Gortat?
Odom/Battie?/Gortat?
Lewis/MP
Lee/MP/JJ?/AJ
Jameer/Alston/AJ

I think Wallace or Dyce would fit that role as well but I'm not as high on getting either of those guys. Not too impressed by Boozer either. Thoughts on David Lee?
