NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

We all knew it was going to happen eventually. New York is a tough place to coach or to manage, because the fans and media can turn on you REAL quickly. If you're losing, you're out.

Randolph coached the team to within 1 win of a World Series berth just two seasons ago, but obviously that colossal meltdown towards the end of last season really set the tone for Willie's eventual demise.

As a Braves fan, I'm glad to see the Mets struggling. But really, I just don't think the team is as talented as their payroll would suggest.

Let's be civil about this. I know that the team is struggling and I would admit it. But the way that the management of the 'other team' in NY handled this scrunity in a classless move. Period.
