NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Nelson and Lewis have identical defensive rebound rates: 12.0.

The difference is that Nelson is a full foot shorter than Lewis is, and has to guard players further from the basket.

That stat makes 0 sense how in god's name can you be 6'10 and have the same rebound rate as a 5'11 guy seriously someone needs to inform Mr. Lewis how tall he really is. O and Arroyo did what looked to be a decent job aganist Paul last night I may have to retract my orange cone statement about him.

Sadly we are asking the kid to be the leader of this team but he still has to learn that mental toughness part of the game.

But then again, I thought the problem with the rebounding on this team (and Matty has mentioned this several times on the broadcast too!), is that the rest of the team seems to just wait around for Dwight to get it. Last night, they failed to box out. That was the main reason they gave up too many offensive boards.

they had a new nba commercial with a picture of dwight and it said where becoming a leader happens and i kind of had to laugh at it as much as i love dwight

but yeah the rest of the team expected dwight to get the rebounds last night and they outhustled off their a**

the sad part was that the 1qtr and halfway through the second was one of the better energy efforts we gave all season, i was thinking in my head if we give this energy in the playoffs were gonna atleast destroy whoever we play in the 1st round

and then the energy went down like 100 fold after that

Yup. The energy last night was up and down. I was celebrating and then suddenly we could not do anything for the next few minutes and let them back in again. It was a frustrating game to watch.

I blame my gf for the loss....the Magic is 0-3 so far in games where she watched it with me... So no more Magic games for her for a while...and she's a big Magic fan too.

Well, at least you were able to convert her into a Magic fan (or did she already like them?)... but she's killing us! ;)

See the thing is... I don't mind calling out any player because I'm not biased against anyone (except maybe Pat). So when Arroyo sucks, he SUCKS. Same with Nelson. And all the other guys too.

You seem way to impressed with yourself. <_<

Edit: And to make this basketball related and not just me calling you out, you owe Arroyo an apology!

What does that post have to do with me? I'm saying that I am a fan of the whole team and not biased against any player or just a fan of one guy.

And you can change the "I" in my post, to "most of us".

Yes yes, I just read the whole exchange you were having about Arroyo and it rubbed me the wrong way, so I took the moment to put on my hall monitor jacket from the 5th grade and blew the whistle. ;)

Carlos did a good job of beating CP to his spots. He likes to drive and run into people to draw fouls. Arroyo read the report, Dooling didn't no biggie.

Regardless, first place teams seem to have a whole set of rules for them. (See Mo Peterson shoving Evans out of bounds, but evans getting charged with the foul) IMO, the Hornets are a cinderalla team having a good year anyway. They don't scare anyone. Bring on the Cavs.
