I didn't watch the game tonight, but if I'm reading the box score correctly, this loss should be blamed on nothing but offensive rebounds. We gave them 21 and we only got 2?!? That's pathetic. SVG, for some unknown reason, has all this guys back on defense when we shoot the ball and Howard is the only guy on the offensive glass. I don't know why he does this. We need a rebounder in the upcoming draft so badly.

I missed most of the game, I was only able to check in periodically. But I'm kind of glad, because I probably would've punched my fist through a f'n wall. Wow, this was tough loss for us. I don't know what we're going to do about our rebounding problem, this can't keep happening with these teams beating us. First the Bucks out rebounding us and now this? We won't last in the playoffs if this crap continues.

That's pathetic.

No, its worse than that. 21-2 was the final o-rebounding margin.

The Orlando Magic: Where Rebounding Doesn't Happen.

That should be the Magic's official catchphrase.

it wasnt SVG tonite, hedo gave up about 6 offensive rebounds in the 3rd qtr alone when he was in perfect position and evans didnt do all that great either, tonite wasnt about positioning for the boards it was all about the fact that we got a 14 pt lead and then proceeded to get outhustled the rest of the night

then a few stupid plays at the end by hedo and evans (although that should of been a no call it was BS) leading to a bad play to end the game and thats about it

if we kept up the intensity then we probably would have won by 8-10 pts but we gave this one away, no excuses you cant give games like this away if u want to be an elite team

Dwight should keep his intensity and aggressiveness up - and I like that fact that he is in full tilt in practice.

he should probably use that aggressiveness out on the floor to dominate on the defensive end when he isnt getting the ball instead of sulking and getting his head out of the game

yeah we did a s**t job of getting him th ball but dwight decided to quit in the 3rd qtr and let pargo, and paul outhustle him for timely offensive boards and the numerous alley oops they got in that qtr b/c dwight didnt hustle back on defense

I don't blame Ninja for taking the shot at the end, he was open and set.
BTW, his dunk and even sicker block both need to make SC Top 10, those were some nasty efforts.

Sadly after Pat's first shot attempt he started hesitating and not even some great effort could get him going tonight. :(

I learned two things tonight:
1. David West is a DIRTY PLAYER. My God, he should've fouled out in the 1st quarter with his pushing, pulling and high elbow swings. :(
2. Chris Paul relies a lot on winning foul calls by jumping into players (and he still gets them). Half his points came from free throws that came from unbelievable jumps to stationary Magic players. :(

Rashard and Hedo played damn well, too bad foul trouble killed Rashard's shot in the 4th.
Mo and Kebo needed to each make 1 more 3 tonight and it would've been game.
Losing the free throw battle was also a big determinate as Hedo missing 3 is not good.
Dwight again took about a half off. :(

This loss doesn't hurt, I was just pissed at the refs for some piss poor calls as I thought Sweater Vest Guy would have a heart attack late.

Happy 50th B-day to Bob, he proved he has more game than Nick and 3-D. :D
The Soulja Boy dance with the air mascots was maybe the best thing I've seen in a while. :) :D
I'm still waiting on my season ticket holder perks, thought tonight would be the night I'd get to shoot for some cash, no dice. :( Here's to me getting the love last home game of the season.

P.S. Undefeated when Gortat plays, Stan should've thought about that on the last play. :)

That was a demoralizing loss. I really thought we'd pull it out in that last minute but greater powers conspired against us. D12 played good but lacked energy. Shard should have had a monster game and Turk looked great. Their SG Peterson really hurt us. We need to win out now. Go Magic!

Rashard scored the way he usually does, so I'm not upset with him. I'm worried about Dwight though, iceveins was saying he kept lacking hustle as well. Not too good of a sign.

Also, I'm curious to see Dooling's monster dunk you guys were talking about.

<_< Actually the Magic are the 4th best defensive rebounding team in the NBA. Tonight was an aberration so don't get too worked up over it.

I realize we are good on the defensive side because of Dwight. But we have major problems on grabbing offensive boards off the glass and it shouldn't be taken lightly, but that's just me.

Defensive rebounding and Offensive rebounding are two different monsters. We are obviously 4th in the NBA in D-rebounding only because we have the #1 rebounder in the NBA. But our guys rely on Dwight too much and get lax and lazy on the offensive boards. Rebounds are all about who wants it most and we sure proved it tonight.

BTW, the air Raptor swallowing one of our cheerleaders was perfectly executed (and she didn't come out for another 5 minutes) :D

Also, very funny to see G-Hill and Shaq booed in their video dedications to Bob.

That is more defensive philosophy than ability as we get back on D more often than crashing the offensive boards.
