NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. ....

That's the best we could do? An off-balance jumper by Keyon Dooling when RASHARD LEWIS and HEDO TURKOGLU are on the floor?!?!?!?!

Make that 21-2.

25 fouls on us. 18 on New Orleans.
15 FT attempts for us. 27 for New Orleans.

That was a bad play. Lewis should have just driven that instead of passing up the shot. Bad execution.

Lewis had no business passing the ball to Keyon as he had no idea that he was even getting the ball. Hedo should have been the recipient of the in bounds pass, he is the guy with the most game winners on our team.

Well, we really shored up our defensive rebounding deficiency in the 4th quarter, but it was too late by that time.

That's going to be tough to ask, since we want him to be aggressive at the same time.

I think other players have to watch out.  They should know better. Let the opposing make that mistake.

Yeah, but how many big men in the NBA knock out three players from THIER OWN team all in one season?

Jameer's latest contusion was due to him running into Dwight. Dwight has his back on him so he has no way of knowing where Jameer is- Jameer's fault.

Regarding Cook, I find it funny that his hand gets broken when the opposing big in practice takes a swipe on it...soft...

I don't like to blame this on on Dwight since he is doing exactly what we need from a big. I would like him to take out opposing team's player, but again... our other guys should know better. Dwight should keep his intensity and aggressiveness up - and I like that fact that he is in full tilt in practice.

Missed FTs and that TO by Turk hurt us at the end there.

Overall it was a good "playoffs" type of game. It would have been nice to win it but good learning experience for our guys I guess.

Well said, You practice the way you play. Don't half a** it and you won't get hurt.

I didn't watch the game tonight, but if I'm reading the box score correctly, this loss should be blamed on nothing but offensive rebounds. We gave them 21 and we only got 2?!? That's pathetic. SVG, for some unknown reason, has all this guys back on defense when we shoot the ball and Howard is the only guy on the offensive glass. I don't know why he does this. We need a rebounder in the upcoming draft so badly.
