Turkoglu, starring as the club's go-to guy this season, sprained his right wrist in a fall with 42 seconds left in the opening period and left with 10:19 remaining in the second. He had his hand wrapped afterward and said he'll have an MRI today. X-rays were difficult to read because of swelling in the wrist.

"I'm crossing my fingers," Turkoglu said. "I just fell on it. I hope it's just a sprain. I hope it's not something like it was broken and keeps me away."

Ahhh crap. Lets hope to God that this is not very serious. Without him our chances of winning go down the drain, pretty much. :S

And Jameer's Injury:

Nelson left the game after being inadvertently walloped in the jaw by Howard's forearm.

The Magic took extra precaution with Nelson because he sustained a concussion early this season and another during training camp two seasons ago. He also collided with Howard in the camp incident.

Nelson said he felt "a little dizzy" after getting bonked on the chin by Howard but was chewing on a piece of candy afterward and operating his Blackberry at record speed.

From that description, it sounds like Hedo broke his wrist. :(
I had that same injury (and probably to a worse degree than Hedo).
I'd expect Hedo out until the playoffs, IMO. Hopefully I'm wrong but it sounds like a break.

Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was diagnosed Wednesday with a sprained right wrist and is listed as day-to-day, much to the relief of the playoff-bound team.

Point guard Jameer Nelson also is listed as day-to-day after leaving Tuesday night's game against San Antonio in the first quarter after being struck in the jaw by teammate Dwight Howard.

Turkoglu sustained his injury in a fall late in the first quarter against the Spurs, and left early in the second period.

Turkoglu underwent an MRI Wednesday that revealed no broken bones or torn tendons.

Oh man...great news about Hedo (I mean, compared to what it could have been, of course).

I was getting really nervous about it being broken, after what Adam said.

Same here MM.

Nice find because after all this team has accomplished...imagine it all going down the drain along with Hedo.

so, how exactly did Hedo hurt his wrist? was he pushed? did he trip over someone? Did he try a 720 dunk? anyone got anything?

Well, we play Milwaukee on Friday, which shouldn't be too difficult, and then after that, we don't play until next Tuesday against the Hornets.

So Hedo (and Nelson) should have plenty of downtime over the next 5-6 days to rest up from their injuries.

Wow...we dodged a bullet there. Let Turk and Nelson sit another game. Our bench guys shouldn't have trouble with Milwaukee.

Losing Hedo this close to the playoffs definitely would have been a critical blow to this teams chances. Very Very Lucky!

I'm really disappointed with Jameer, as is the rest of this board I'm willing to bet. I thought he'd have a pretty solid season for us. Turk has been amazing for us though, 2nd best scorer on the team next to Howard.

It looked from how the injury was reported that Turkoglu had a broken wrist. By wrist was broken recently and it was swelling and the X-Rays were hard to read. I'm glad it's only sprained.
