We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. The Orlando Magic are inching closer to clinching a division championship.

All-star center Dwight Howard also is inching closer to clinching a long-sought title of his own -- the NBA's rebounding title.

Howard leads the league, averaging 14.4 boards per game.

Denver Nuggets center Marcus Camby is the runner-up, chasing Howard with a 13.6 average.

If Howard maintains his pace, Camby would need to average 19 rebounds per game in his last 14 games to average 14.5 -- and pass Howard.

Not likely.

Howard would become the league's youngest rebounding champion at 22 years, 130 days.

He would become the first Magic player to lead the NBA in rebounding; monstrous Shaquille O'Neal never wore the crown.

He went over the 1,000-rebound mark this season by grabbing 14 rebounds in the Magic's 87-86 loss to the Washington Wizards but was hindered by foul trouble and scored just three points.
