Dwight is fine. SVG is thinking about allowing him to take tomorrow off - in a joking kind of way, so he will be fine.

Raptors lost again. We are really holding on nicely to number 3 spot. Maybe the Pistons will let us catch them for number 2 - maybe. :D

As much as I love Dooling, I think having Nelson and Arroyo as the two point guards really improves the continuity of the offense. When we play Nelson/Arroyo and Dooling, the style of play changes completely when the point guard changes. Nelson and Arroyo run the offense very similarly, and players can come and go without the offensive flow changing very much.

Amen! :yes:

We're 5 games back of Detroit, 4.5 ahead of Cleveland, and 7 ahead of Toronto.

We're 8-2 in our last 10 games, behind only Boston (10-0).

In our last 3 wins, our point guards have a combined stat line of: 69 pts, 62% shooting, 32 assists, 4 turnovers, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals (all by Nelson, coincedentally).

For all the trouble Nelson has had with turnovers, he hasn't had one in the last two games. And for all the problems Arroyo has had with shot selection, he's taken nothing but good shots in the last few contests. This is the best I've seen our point guards play in a long while.

Dwight should be ok. He had to prep for his special autograph session after the game so Stan probably told him he was done for the night and could get cleaned up.

For those surprised by all the calls Corey has gotten, don't be. He's done it all season.

If the Clippers had any bench help, this would've been a competitive game.

LMFAO at Otis hitting on one of the female security guards at the game, someone else should've spotted that.

Oh man, I hope it wasn't that tall, built blonde one who hangs out around the Magic bench. :unsure:

^^^ :lol: I know which one you were talking about. And no, she was black.

Technically he fell because of the injury, but what are the odds you'll see Dwight take a charge and get credit for it ever again? :D

A VERY nice dunk from Mo to put the game on ice:

Dwight: "Come to a winning team Corey, I know you want to."
Corey: "Damn, he's right."
Josh Powell: "Superman, when I grow up, I want to be just like you."

I was pissed at Evans for dunking that one. He should have passed it to Cookie Monster. C'mon, Mo! Assist your teammates!

The Magic hit seven 3-pointers in the third quarter and 11 for the game, allowing them to tie the all-time franchise record of 622, in a lopsided 110-88 rout of the lowly Los Angeles Clippers.

To fully put that number in perspective, Orlando made just 342 3-pointers in 82 games last season. But this season, the 3-point shot is almost as big a weapon as Howard dominating inside. Of course, many of those shots come free and clear because of Howard’s play inside.

It’s the most 3-pointers a Magic team has made since the 1995-96 season, Shaquille O’Neal’s last in Orlando. Of all the similarities between O’Neal and Howard, his effect on the quality of shots his teammates get might be the most striking.

``No doubt about it, it’s a huge weapon for us, especially when we have a powerhouse like Dwight, who is so dominant inside,’’ said Maurice Evans, who had 13 points and two 3-pointers. ``You want to surround a player like that with people who can spread the floor and make shots. Obviously, we have people here who can do that. We’re capitalizing on the double teams.’’

The last team to get into the playoffs last season, Orlando (42-24) can now start discussing its magic number _ and it’s not even mid-March yet. Any combination of three Orlando victories and losses by the ninth-seeded team (New Jersey) and the Magic will clinch a playoff spot.

Orlando also clinched a winning season, which isn’t such a pedestrian accomplishment when you consider that the franchise hasn’t done that since it was 42-40 in 2002-03.

Powell with gay looks to Dwight. :lol:

Corey will be expensive. With Turk about to have major pay-day the next season I don't think we can afford him. Would love to have him back on Magic uni though.

It wouldn't matter who we have on the PG, we will have a solid starting lineup.

Pistons next 5 games:

@ Cavs
@Wizards

Our next 5 games:
@Heat
vs Pacers
vs Cavs
vs Wizards
vs Sizers

We could really close the gap here.

Watch Detroit destroy all of those teams and we lose to them all LOL. We could close the gap however they might go 3-2 while we go 4-1. We won't catch them but we could cut it.
