NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

I don't think his trade value has diminished. He has not shown that he is a bad player or can't compete. He is still mostly unproven at the NBA level and every team wants a sharpshooter.

Well what I meant from that is no team wants a "cancer" on their team. I mean if Redick is going to continuously b**ch about playing time, teams aren't going to want him if they push him back in the rotation. I want to give Redick a chance but the guy isn't proving that much to me with his garbage minutes and his bad attitude about not being given a chance to play. He did say that will stop the playing time talks (I did read your blog Evan) so at least he's improving in that aspect.

Yeah i agree. Very true because no team wants a guy who will cry and complain if he dont "get his" like Sprewell or Ricky Davis.

To elaborate on this post... check out this latest post by J.J. in his blog.

http://www.redicklive.com/redick/blogDetail/253

I have a link and a report about it on my blog, Bold N Blue if you want to check it out.

But, I think J.J. is wise to drop the issue because the most important thing is the team. We have a playoff team with high aspirations and we don't need any one guy causing dissentions around the locker room.

Linked your report on this on The Howeva Files today, MME (on the same day Deadspin.com ran one of our articles, so should help your readership). Great reporting. Absolutely love the images of JJ sulking on the bench.

I’m honestly tired of any playing time questions and playing time articles. From now on I’m going to solely focus any blogs for the remainder of this season on our team. Yes, I don’t play a lot. Yes, I am not in the rotation. Those are facts. But it’s also a fact that I’m on a playoff team with the caliber to contend for the Eastern Conference championship. I’m going to drop the whole playing time issue, I hope everyone else will for the rest of this season.

He's not arrogant, he's realistic and he certainly isn't a hypocrite.
And he certainly seems tired to read message boards filled with threads like these and the answer the constant questions about playing time coming from every interview he gives.

Agreed. I may have misunderstood what he was trying to say earlier. I think what he was saying is just as a reaction to what he was being asked. Not that he is trying to rock the boat or something. Good point.

Fact is we passed on good players to pick JJ, brewer / Carney, Thabo, and the Magic killer Rondo, to name a few. Our Magic scouts f**ked it up again. JJ is a waste of a pick

I think Carney would have done good here. He's stuck in Philly and JJ is stuck in Orlando. Trade?
