Good bounce back game. Let's see Nelson turn it loose a little more and feel like he's part of the sucess of this team. Maybe couch will find it in his heart to give J.J. more playing time if Dooling is out, too. Those are the two things that I'll be watching for.

Dooling's status uncertain for Saturday

Tests on Thursday ruled out any possibility of a stress fracture, but guard Keyon Dooling said he still wasn't sure if he could play Saturday against the New York Knicks at Amway Arena.

Dooling left Wednesday's loss in Philadelphia after 10 minutes because of soreness again in his left mid-foot -- a problem which caused him to miss one game earlier this month -- but he was encouraged after precautionary X-rays and an MRI did not reveal anything serious.

He is unlikely to practice with the rest of the team today but he is questionable for Saturday.

"It's feeling better today than it was Wednesday," he said Thursday afternoon. "But I'm not sure [if he will play Saturday]. If I was a psychic, maybe I could tell you. If I'm able, I'll be out there, but I just don't know at this point."

Dooling has been the Magic's most consistent reserve this season, averaging 8.3 points and 1.8 assists in 19 minutes. His foot soreness and ineffectiveness Wednesday was one reason why 76ers G Andre Miller was able to dominate the game.

We should get to see some Arroyo-ball with Dooling sitting this one out. Can't wait!

Jameer finally gets to play a point guard his size.

Dwight better handle Curry. He's slow and can't jump. C'mon Dwight.

Lewis will have his hands full with Randolph.

Nate Robinson is only Jameer size in height he's alot stronger than jameer and just as fast look for him to have a good game tonight especially if we dont have Keon. Lewis can't stop Randolph period. Howard is gonna have to be dominate around the basket tonight. I know it's Knicks but it was the Sixers last game, and we got crushed by them.

jameer SHOULD have a good game, the last 5 times we've played the knicks they manage to make jameer look like an all star PG each time we've played them, hopefully this trend continues

Jameer made the Knicks look absolutely silly in that first game against them this season. It was like Marbury wasn't even guarding him.

Too bad Starbury is not playing - we could have gotten the same result.

Jameer is beneath Starbury - no way is he going to guard Jameer. ;)

I'm looking for Randolph to destory us in this game. Turkoglu should have a good game as well as our PGs no matter who it is. Dwight better do something against Curry.

^^ You mean Curry better try to do something against Dwight...no how about AT ALL. He is the worst statistical player when it comes to positive stats vs negative stats, a la The Eddy Curry Line.

Three Things To Note

Point guard Keyon Dooling has 50-50 chance to play, according to Stan Van Gundy.

Knicks rank near bottom of most offensive categories but are in top 10 on offensive boards.

Knicks F David Lee, an ex-Gator, is averaging 8.5 points and 9 rebounds vs. Magic this season.

It would excite me to a see real pg play too. I cant wait either !

..and just realized that Jameer is indeed playing someone his size. So instead of someone shooting over him all night, he'll just drive past him. Thanks for the variety Jameer !! oh yeah and the great assist / TO ratio

I have no clue where you get "alot stronger than jsmeer" from, faster......uh yeah, that's going to be part of the fun / frustration of the game tonight.
