What about Danny Fortson? :/ He's a free agent i think and we are verging on desperate. Dude ain't very tall, but from what i remember a good rebounder for his size and plays tough, very physical.

Dude has a horrible attitude problem, but he's also a helluva rebounder. Not a bad suggestion.

Count him out then. Ownership will not want a troublesome player on their roster.

He could be the guy doing dirty work for us though which can sure give this team an edge.

I actually like him. For a guy who's 6'7, 6'8, he can rebound like hell. He avg. like 15rpg one year. I think we should get him but our team is "good enough" apparently.

Sam Cassell has been waived by the Clippers.

ESPN Headlines

We all know where he is going.

Yea, he averaged 16.7/16.3 on the Warriors in 2000-2001, but it was only for 6 games.

I think the "attitude" type guy is exactly what this team needs. A little edgy-ness never hurt anyone. It will help trickle down to the whole team and maybe toughen them up.

Detroit will also add Theo Ratliff to their roster. Dwight will have a real tough time now facing either Celtics or Detroit with or without Battie.

Things are not looking good for us in the playoffs.

See this kinda s**t is what frustrates me. Otis should've jumped at this the second he heard the Wolves were requesting waivers on him. Every team fills some sort of need come playoff time. We needed to get someone to fill a void left by Battie.; Even if Battie comes back, do you think he's going to do anything after sitting out the whole season? We get killed on the boards now and nothing has been done to help with the rebounding load thats placed on dwight. Ridiculous.

As far as I know, yes. And apparently he was the guy we were going to sign with the Grant Hill injury exception that the league never gave us.

Think he'd want to play? Think Otis would want him?
