In the event of a tie, how does a winner is chosen>?

This is from Yahoo. These are the Playoff Tiebreakers

  1. Lowest team ERA.
  2. Highest team AVG.
  3. Lowest team WHIP.
  4. Most team HR.
  5. Most team wins.
  6. Most team RBI.
  7. Most team saves.
  8. Most team runs.
  9. Most team SO.
  10. Most team SB.
  11. Random "coin flip."

So first is Team ERA, if thats a tie, then Team Average, if thats a tie Lowest WHIP and so on down the list until the winner is determined.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering that for a while.

I hate to see the championship end in a tie breaker, but at the same time it made for an interesting conclusion to the season. Congrats to Punisher, and great job to the both of you. Very close series.

Gentlemen:

I've been known to lurk around this site for a little while and see the activity in this thread as a positive. I know it's ealry, but I have openings into a baseball keeper league for 2009 through ESPN.

You would be inheriting a roster in a league that keeps 4 players (at least one batter and at least one pitcher). Of those inherited rosters, the keeper selection has not been made, so the choice is up to you.

This is a fun league with a lot of activity. There are a lot of stats involved (17x17), so I hope that doesn't scare people away.

Let me know if any one is interested...
