Wallace gets the nod over Hedo? WTF?!? Hedo is averging one less rebound per game than Wallace.. (I realize the move was likely because the East needed a PF/C, but still, Wallace does not deserve it this year.) |

Hedo was robbed. Are you serious with Wallace? He's a good player, don't get me wrong. But he is averaging less than 13 ppg and Hedo is shooting better than he is and averaging more assists. This is a bad pick by the league. |

Sorry about my previous post. I meant to say Arroyo got robbed. He should have replaced Garnett in the All-Star game. I can't believe Carlos got snubbed again. This happens to him every year. |

Heh, he was just joking. But yeah, Butler (SF) is currently injured so Hedo still has a small shot at sneaking in. |

Ohh good point MM! As much as i want Butler to come back for my fantasy teams sake, i hope he stays injured some more so Hedo can get the nod! Butler is supposed to return to the court next week though. He was originally going to return today but that didnt happen.

Man, what will it take for Hedo to get in?!? This is just frustrating. The guy deserves to be there. |

If Butler won't play in the All-Star game, then it has to go to Turk. But for some reason, I think they'll give it to Ray Allen because they might feel like one All-Star isn't enough for Boston. |

I've always hated that idea that a team's record should dictate how many All-Stars it has. Last year when the Bulls were one of the best in the East, they didn't have anyone make the team, and I know a lot of people were upset because they thought the Bulls deserved one. There's also the people arguing against Marcus Camby making the team in the West this year (which he didn't, btw) because the Nuggets don't deserve three All-Stars. That notion is absurd. Unfortunately, it's also how it works... |

I totally agree with you. It's completely illogical and stupid. All-stars should be based on their skill level this year and their stats. One of the last things I would look at is team record. Why punish a really good player because he has terrible teammates? It makes no sense. Somehow, people started deciding that it was the right way to decide who should make the all-star team and it's really illogical. If a team has 3 all-star quality players and a bad supporting cast, then it shouldn't make a difference. Those 3 players should still be on the all-star team. This league is obsessed with "superstars" and "all-stars." They make it seem like your team can't be good unless you have two or three amazing players. Detroit a few years ago when they had the best record in the league. They were known as a great TEAM. No real all-stars, just very good players that played well together. But then the league decides to put 4 out of their 5 starters as all-stars. Are they a good TEAM or just a great collection of all-stars? Which is it? |

Even if Butler is out, Doc Rivers will make a case for Ray Allen.Turkoglu has had terrific numbers since being being snubbed. |
