its a freaking dunk contest, all the haters hating on dwight are just pissed he isnt wearing their team's uniform so they are gonna hate on everything he accomplishes, especially those raptor and celtic fans cause dwight has officialy flown past chris bosh and idk why celtic fans hate so much on dwight

the greatest thing now would be dwight posterizing jamario moon when we play the raptors lol

Why can't people get it through their minds that he PLANNED TO THROW IT THROUGH! It was so much more impressive to get as high as possible and throw the freaking thing in the hoop as opposed to doing the conventional dunk.

How do you know that he planned to throw it through? Maybe that was his intention, but he really had no choice based on where he was in the air. He was too far away to grab the rim. He did say that he wanted to take off from as far as possible. But Dwight was too far away to grab the rim on that dunk. Maybe he would have done it the same if he did it again. Or maybe he would actually grab the rim. I don't know. Either way, it was a great show by Dwight.

He did not touch the rim, but technically - if we go by the definition of a dunk, it still is a dunk.

Dunk does not necessarily mean you have to touch the rim or anything, it's just that your hand should be above the rim to throw it downward.

It's over and done with anyway- he won by a landslide. The fact is Dwight owned the crowd. It doesn't matter - the important thing is the crowd loved it and it was THE most entertaining dunk contest we've seen in a looonggg while.

this is how to settle the dunk issue

dwight would have hammered it home if jameer threw him a better pass lol (actually it was a pretty good pass, it could have been a little better if he didnt throw it so far so dwight could catch w/ full momentum), now we can be happy about dwight literally flying in the air, i still cant believe he pulled that s**t off

We should be thankful Jameer passed it to Dwight. Everything else is gravy.

I stand corrected. It WAS a dunk. It's not your "typical" dunk, but it's still a dunk.

LeBron looking to get the All-Star MVP. East looks so much better than the West after 3 quarters.

Damn, Dwight looked out of it in the second half. I don't think he had the ball passed to him once in the 4th quarter. He did get the put-back layup off of Wade's miss, but I don't think he touched the ball on offense besides that.

Dwight was the only player to shoot 100% from the field. Not that it matters.. but he had a good game. 16 pts 9 reb 3 ast 3 stl 1 bl

And i wouldnt blame Dwight for being tired in the 2nd half. He worked so hard in the dunk contest that he deserves it.
