Some guy was talking about how the celts lost to a team " like the magic" the "usually dull" Orlando Magic and I lay the smack down on him.

HIS MORON-OLOGUE
As of press time, I’m still shocked that the Celtics lost to a team like the Orlando Magic last Sunday.

And yeah, I’m still pissed about the fact that I lost a very winnable bet too. And to think that THAT was Boston’s very first loss of the 2007-08 NBA basketball season, to a team like the Orlando Magic that probably still likes to start every single year in a blistering pace only to come up short down the stretch.

104-102 was the final score last Sunday as the Boston Celtics failed to win the game and, more importantly, FAILED to cover the +1 spread awarded to the usually dull Orlando Magic.

Kevin GarnettFor what it’s worth, the Celtics still had one more chance to steal the game from the Orlando Magic but Celtics star Paul Pierce missed an off-balance jumper with time running out in a play where they should’ve just given the ball to Ray Allen, or the Big Ticket if only he didn’t fouled out of the game that early.

Speaking of the Big Ticket, Kevin Garnett finished with a double-double 14 points and 11 rebounds, typical KG game. Garnett says this loss should only mean that they are not perfect. Nothing more, nothing less. Yep, he forgot about that thing about me losing cash after their first loss of the year.

‘’We’re not perfect,'’ Kevin Garnett said. ‘’We didn’t think we were going to go 82-0. But we are a team of character. We do play hard. We do play together, just not perfect.'’

‘’We knew it was going to be a tough game on the road, two of the top teams in the East right now,'’ Paul Pierce said.

The Orlando Magic is the first team to shoot better than 50 percent against the Boston Celtics this season. They also became the very first team this year to have any kind of lead over Boston at the half and entering the fourth and final quarter.

You just know these guys are PISSED and they should win their next game, against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday at the TD Banknorth Garden. Lose this one and I’ll be pissed again.

I love it when bloggers use off hand derogatory comments
“to a team like the Orlando Magic”,”the usually dull Orlando Magic” Newsflash Jerkweed The Boston Celts have “usually” sucked donkey ball for the last 10 years or so. If you had been paying attention to THIS year you would’ve seen an Orlando Magic team that is anything but dull. Unless by dull you mean having one of the biggest beasts in the paint who jams it home about every 2 minutes. Only took you Celt faithful 8 or 9 games to start thinking you were a dynasty again. Yeah just keep the Ben Gay and Metamucil handy for when your aging vets get banged up and clogged up.

 Very nice, though you didn't have to go with the 'Ben Gay' reference when Metamucil pretty much covers it.
