We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Looking at the upcoming schedule, the next three games are going to be brutal.

At home against Boston (8-0)
At New Orleans (8-2)
At San Antonio (8-2)

The next three games are going to define the Magic. Are they a team to be reckoned with? Or are they a very good team that can't defeat the best in the league?

Can we beat all three? Hell yeah. The Magic have the firepower, they have the defense, and they have the players. Jameer, Dwight, and Rashard are playing amazing basketball right now. Hedo and KeBo can be amazing as well if their shots are falling.

My prediction?

We beat Boston.

We beat New Orleans.

We lose to San Antonio.

I think we can beat Boston and maybe San Antonio. But I have a feeling we'll fall to New Orleans.

As I pointed out earlier today, our next three games are against the three top teams in Hollinger's Power Rankings, which are totally stat-based. If we can get out of there 2-1, I think we'll be in good shape. Actually, the only way I'll panic is if we go 0-3. 1-2 is bad, but I could live with it, you know? It's early.

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
Against those 3 I won't even panic if we go 0-3.
I'm just curious to see how we play against 3 different styles and 3 different strong teams in a row.

+/- is what it looks like: +/-. Rashard's +26, for instance, indicates that the Magic outscored the Nets by 26 points when he was on the floor.

oh ok! thanks! that makes perfect sense.....sorry if it was a dumb question

I think +/- and BA are new to NBA.com's boxes this year. I like 'em.
