That used to be a huge knock on Miami during their championship season. Throughout the season, they had a horrible record against the top teams, but they would almost always beat the mediocre and bad teams in the league. I'm not saying that it's a good thing. I'd like to beat the top teams too, but this team is still growing and needs some time to get used to SVG's style.

We are becoming better at playing an uptempo style with each game we play, IMO. Obviously last night we had a lot of turnovers, but we tried to push the ball a lot. Let's look to do that tonight as well.

i agree, despite the rediculous amount of turnovers, we pushed the ball up and down the court--granted, it was against a very young and learning team, but a win is a win.

If we can keep out turnovers to about 10 or 11 or so, and we push the ball and score like we did last night, we will have no problem winning this game.

ps. cant let lebron have his way with us, we let our guard down against him, he will make us pay for it.

Stop Lebron = key to the game (obviously)!!

Go Magic

Actually, I think it would be more effective to let LeBron score and don't let the rest of the Cavs to get into the action. I think this is what worked for us last season. As long as the other Cavs are well defended it will just be LeBron against Hedo/Lewis and Dwight.

Besides I don't really think we have a guy that can stop LeBron anyways. But the rest of the Cavs players is a whole different story - our defense can lock all of them down.

point taken!! :)

Almost game time!

Yup. But China was a preseason game. LeBron was only half trying. Bogans is our best bet though.

I think Lewis will have a big game since Gooden is most likely to guard him. Gooden is horrible on defense, especially on the perimeter.

Lewis' shot is not falling so far. I hope he finds it in the 2nd quarter.

Very unhappy that Boobie and Pavlovic have hurt us.
Dwight is keeping us even right now.
8:53 left, Magic down 36-37 with Dwight going to the line.

Just when you thought Drew Gooden couldn't look uglier, he had to take the Youkilis look.

Hedo misses an easy lay-up BUT DWIGHT CLEANS IT UP. We're up 38-37 as Dwight didn't go to the line.

Wow, Arroyo actually drove to the hole and made a lay-up as Hughes blows.
KEYON ANOTHER TURNOVER. :(
Sasha another bucket. 40-39 Magic.

I love how that free throw shot leaves to the possibility of a soft touch bounce instead all those clankers the previous years. 2-2 for Dwight.
42-39 as Dwight as 15 points in the game. 7:20 left.

Lewis missed a few tip-ins. :(
ADONAL in for D-Flight. 17 minutes straight for Dwight.

Why does Gooden get a bail out call? 'Shard with 2 fouls.
