Rocks blocking shots on guys with dreadlocks
idk, i think if u have a chance to be a championship team w/ a couple more pieces then you should probably go for it while ur teams window is there, there is no guarantee that you'll have a better shot later down the line so you gotta take the shot while you can

WOW huge win!! That really shows us that we can fight the tough battles against the great teams!!! This team has taken another step. Clutch play baby, thats what wins games

We were actually not "clutch" in regulation but got the job done in OT.

Hedo sure did make up for any prior bad plays with that tie up. NO WAY there was a foul there, just a lot of sour grapes. Dwight had a huge game and hit the FT's when it mattered. I'm kind of worried about Rashard having another average game against good competition, but as long as we win it doesn't really matter. Huge win for our guys and another big road win as well.

I don't blame Miami. They won a championship. Only one team out of thirty gets to do that a year (duh). It's an achievement. Would I want the Magic to trade, like, Dwight Howard for some geezer who could win us a title? No, but that's only because I know Dwight and Rashard are going to get us more than one eventually. The Heat couldn't say that about themselves, which is why they made the deal, and they got what they wanted. I think they made the right choice.

What an amazing game! Magic are on a great roll.

Dwight with the FTs. Miracles do happen.

Who called the Sonics beating the Heat ;) That Miami team is so in the trash right now.

And they even had Wade tonight.

Though I hate Jamele Hill, she was right on the money on 1st and 10 today. She said that Miami used to have a future and chose to trade it away for a quick championship. She said they got their championship and now they are feeling the second half of their decision.

So when you think about it...what is better, having a future, or trading it away for a quick title?

Yeah, but that future doesn't guarantee a championship.

I get what you guys are saying, but the Heat have gotten so bad that no one in Miami is interested in seeing them right now. Now I do digress that Miami fans are the biggest bandwagon fans in the NBA. I just think I'd rather have a team like Dallas that is in it every year and worth watching than a team like Miami that gave a good show but only for a sec.

On a different subject...as I look at Boston's schedule so far this year, they still haven't faced any of the league's elite. Their schedule had been much easier than ours this year so far.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The Nets are a very good team and we should be worried about them on Friday night. After winning an emotional game tonight, there's a chance we could lose our focus and come out flat in New Jersey. Don't worry about the Celtics just yet.

I want us to beat them badly (over by the 3rd), keep them winless but rested for the next game win against Miami. If they win that one - that would be sweet. Laugh.gif

Without Vince Carter, they don't look too good - as evident by the loss to the Celtics tonight. They tried to hang on but Kidd and Jefferson has to do a lot and that affected their game.

Nets are still dangerous, but if VC does not play, we have them.

I'm so pissed I didn't get to see this game. My internet was so slow, so the video kept skipping. I was able to listen to it on the radio. I can't believe Bogans choked on those free throws. Hopefully he can get over that and be able to hit those shots in another game.

I was glad to see SVG go with fouling instead of allowing the Cavs to take that 3 at the end. I didn't see the second foul by Turk, but I heard that it was a bad call. It should have been on the floor. Either way, if you're SVG and your team has one foul to give, you foul once. Then you go to foul a second time, but make sure that he isn't in the act of shooting. Everyone knew that we were going to foul again. I would tell my players to fake like they are going to foul, but hold back until you are positive that the player doesn't shoot (like when he dribbles). If we had done that, LeBron would have probably thrown up a stupid 3, thinking he was going to get fouled and we could have won in regulation.

But I say this behind a computer. It's different when you are out on the court. SVG never thought the refs would have made that stupid call. But it's something SVG should think about next time he does that. Good thing it didn't cost us a win.

Very fun game to watch. It was gut wrenching. I thought the cavs were going to take it in OT. Thank god we got this one.

Last year we wouldnt have been able to pull out the win in OT. This seasons team is different. I admit, i had my doubts tonight during the game, but they sure showed me and all the haters.

I said before the beginning of the season that if we got through November with a .500 record we would be in very good shape considering the very tough schedule.

So far we are halfway through the month and we are looking good. Let's keep it going to close out the month.

The AP recap is unabashedly pro-Cleveland:
Quote:

Orlando's forward got his hands on the ball but also on James' forearms. Referee Leon Wood signaled for a jump ball, and as Cleveland fans booed loudly, James walked around with a puzzled look on his face.

James won the jump, but the ball bounced out of bounds as the Magic improved to an NBA-best 5-0 on the road.

[....]

he Magic appeared to catch a break when Sasha Pavlovic was called for a foul while trying to tie up Lewis with 6 seconds left following a scramble in front of Cleveland's bench. Orlando immediately went inside to Howard, and all Gooden could do was throw his arms around the Magic big man.

We won, they lost. Neener neener neener.
