I think either Lewis will get Randolph in foul trouble or vice versa. Let's keep this road streak alive!

I expect Howard to bounce back after being plagued by foul trouble against Toronto.

The Magic, I think, have historically played well in MSG.

Plus...of the six teams in the NBA who have played five games this season, three of them have 4 wins (San Antonio, Houston, and Orlando)...and Orlando is getting very little talk in the national market!

This will be a tougher game then some people may think. These Knicks got some big a** dudes on their team and I think Randolph could pretty much kill Lewis while he attempts to cover that monster.

Foyle will have to get some more minutes. The bigger the better in this case.

Magic and Knicks stats for the season:

NYK:
FG: 49.0% 3PT: 44.2%
FT: 67.0%
REB: 42.0 AST: 20.0 TO: 14.3 STL: 5.0 BLK 3.3
PTS: 107.3

ORL:
FG: 43.7% 3PT 42.6% FT: 72.9%
REB: 40.5 AST: 18.3 TO: 11.0 STL 5.0 BLK 4.3
PTS: 99.8

The Knicks have a better percentage on the 3PT but we are shooting more 3PT than them. 23.5 attempts to the Knicks 14.3.

We have a better FT% and shooting at 3 more FT attempts than the Knicks.

Rebound and limit penetration. If we can do that, then we'll be fine.

Knicks fans are crazy in love with Balkman right now. I'm talking like the way they were in love with Channing Frye two years ago, and how they were with David Lee last year.

To them, Balkman is their "untouchable" savior and future starting forward. That's fine and all, but keep in mind that they do this almost every season with some guy coming off the bench who they're just SURE will become a future star in the league...

P.S. - lol, just checking out the Knicks RealGM board, I saw this new thread right at the top about Balkman: Finally found the perfect comparision for Balk

Just to note, Balkman is averaging 4.7ppg/2.3reb/1.0ast a game.

Thing is, the Knicks allow opponents to shoot 49% from three-point range.

MM, you are so right about Knicks fans. They'll love a guy for a few months and then when he has a bad stretch of games, they want to trade him. They declare themselves the most knowledgable fans in the world, but if you ask me, I think they are some of the dumbest fans in the NBA. They boo their team almost every game. They want to trade anyone that has a slump. They think their team is amazing because they're 2-1. They still don't play defense for s**t. I'm not saying we're definitely going to beat them, but they are not as good as they think.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. But when he was drafted everyone was ripping the Knicks for picking him so high and the fans were upset about it as well. Pretty funny.

I don't think anyone was saying Balkman was a bad player on draft night. They were just saying that the Knicks could have drafted him later on. They didn't have to use their first 1st round pick for him. They could have drafted Marcus Williams, Kyle Lowry, or Rajon Rondo first and then got Balkman later on.

I remember that night when they drafted him and Thomas said that he knew Phoenix was going to take him next, so that's why he drafted Balkman that early. D'Antoni then said that the Suns didn't even know who he was, LOL. I'm sure he was exaggerating a bit and they knew who Balkman was, but I don't think they were even thinking of taking him.

I've been checking out some Knicks sites, and they are in love with Balkman. He's basically untouchable in their eyes. Someone asked them if they would trade Balkman for Turk and they said, "Hell no!" LMFAO. They are so oblivious.
