We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. I think SVG is the better man for this job. I think his coaching style fits this team a lot better. I like the implement of the 3 point shot again. We have guys who can shoot it, but that was like a taboo shot under Coach Hill. Van Gundy has a good track record; turned that Heat team around and got a lot out of a young scrappy bunch. Then charging in came Riley who took the reigns when he now saw that he could win after they added some veteran players to go with the good young core they had. SVC is going to be a GREAT choice for this job. I'm loving it! |

I personally wanted SVG for the job all along, but when we hired Donovan for that short brief time, I'll admit I was excited. But yeah, no doubt Stan is the man for this job. |

Donovan was the flashy choice, the big name. Two time Champion in College with the Gators. Stan was the man though, glad that Donovan went back to Gainesville. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/

Van Gundy for COY. Does anybody noticed that last year after timeouts we usually letther teams do a run on us and that this year after SVG timeouts we usually go on a run? I believe that says it all. The guy is fantastic. |

Yep things certainly turned out for the better for us. Hopefully Billy D will have a terrible year and we can keep playing well and all will be well in the basketball world

Im so glad SVG had the balls to implement the "if you have an open shot take the 3" regiment. They do it all the time in practice, jacking up threes and it really does wonders by spacing the floor with Dwight. You can see how we have improved by leaps and bounds with our ball movement and turnovers. I credit SVG.

I don't know if I can say he was the better choice as a coach. I liked both Donovan and Van Gundy because of their intensity and passion for the game. I'm just glad that we're winning right now. I'm sure if we had Donovan and we were winning, people would say that Donovan was the better choice as a coach. Hopefully we can maintain the good play and stay atop the division and the EC. |

I was too pumped when Donovan took the job, I went NUTS!!!! I was let down when he had a change of heart, seemed like something that would only happen to our Magic. However, Van Gundy is a great coach and this might end up working out for the better. Time will tell. |
