We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Phanta Sea, FL – 10 hours ago Charles Barkley has reportedly entered into negotiations with the Orlando Magic to make a comeback in the NBA. Inside sources say Barkley has decided to return after years of absence to “make some quick cash for gambling debts.” Asked about it Barkley offered cryptically “Never let a coked up whore talk you into dropping money on a high school Junior Varsity game. Vegas will bet anything, man.” When asked if his conditioning will be an issue Barkley said “ My vertical may not be what it once was but my ego should be big enough to keep people out of the lane. Plus I have crazy trash talking skills. I have even proposed to TNT that they wire me up with a wireless microphone so I can work commentary as it happens live.” TNT is considering the offer but according to a source who spoke on condition of privacy the network would worry that Barkley wouldn’t be able to be heard over the sound of his knees and back creaking and popping, along with the sound of basketballs being forced down his throat. Barkley would likely ask for the veteran league minimum of $1.5 million with Orlando rumored to be counter offering free passes to Disney World and an open bar tab at the arena. |

I knew it couldnt have been true right from the title. Even if he wanted to come back and could do it physically, he wouldnt be able to because he has a contract with TNT. |
