Ok good hard fought win but there were some good and some bad things. First off, i must say that Arroyo should never start again unless injury problems come up. Hes a good guy off the bench but he OVERDRIBBLES like crazy. He killed SO many full court fastbreaks and some runs that we had started all collapsed with his overdribbling and bad decision making. He scored well especially in the 1st quarter but scoring is not what were looking for from our PGs, we need assists and ball control.

2nd, we cant let mediocre teams slip back into the lead if we want to win alot of games. This is the same exact problem from recently with losing to teams we should beat. Luckily Rashard came up huge and hit a bunch of 3s to keep us in the lead, but without that, we probably would have lost.

Wonderful rebound game for Dwight from last time, he couldnt be stopped. AJ is a good defender, but way too short and overmatched.

I was worried when Hedo went down, because we already lost our #1 ballhandler in Nelson for tonight, so losing Hedo would have been a big blow. Luckily he was ok.

Where Ariza has been is anyones guess. He could be playing quality minutes and making big plays for us. Maybe hes out of shape, not playing well in practice for a new coach who isnt used to his game, or maybe SVG just doesnt think hes as good as we do?

Bogans' play has really dropped off from his first two where he was lights out. Still solid on defense, but im thinking Trevor could give him a run for his money. And i must say that Dooling has looked like GARBAGE this season. Turk with another mediocre game after a great one.

And again Pat is the 1st guy off the bench... Pat must be paying SVG some big bucks.

Toronto's loss to the Bucks tonight was pretty bad. Chris Bosh was limited to 1 point! (Bad for my other fantasy team).

I expect them to bounce back tomorrow against us, so our guys better come prepared tomorrow. Toronto's game is very similar to our game so it should be interesting.

Should be yet another clash of the titans with Howard against Bosh and company. Hopefully we can win.

And im serious about this. Carlos had a good offensive scoring game, thats nice, but we have alot of scorers and Jameer can do that. Plus, Arroyo better have a good game when hes matched up with Telfair. Those who watched the game know that Arroyo killed many plays and ended up getting stuck with the ball and the shot clock running down. Even our Magic announcers were complaing about this. :haha:

Sometimes you guys amaze me...... :wow:

I can't beleive you are bashing Arroyo's play tonight. UNBELEIVABLE!!

Even the commentators said that HE was the difference in the game tonight and that everyone elses play was expected. That he did an outstanding job and made the difference with his 17pts, 6 ast, 3 rebounds annnndd 1 steal. Still NOT GOOD ENOUGH??!?!?! INCREDIBLE!

When Jameer has a 20 point night YOU ALL PRAISE HIM. When he has a 3-12 night you all say he had a bad night.

Listen, I know that I do not write about anything else but comments like yours are the reason why!!

Even the Coaching staff on the T'wolves when interviewd at half time said that Arroyo had to be stopped.

Overdribbling??????

Did you ever considered that we had a lead and were in NO rush to make a play?

Did you ever considered that maybe SVG WANTED him to hold on to the ball so the clock could wind down?

I'm sorry but your comments have a personal tone to them. Maybe you don't like him or his style of play but don't say that he SHOULDN'T start again after tonight's performance....

Sometimes I think some of you are just fans of specific players and not the team. Anyway, I think Arroyo played a good game. He had times where he dribbled too much and took an ill-advised shot, but almost everyone on the team does that at times, including Jameer. I thought Arroyo made some nice passes tonight and created some opportunities for other guys on the team. I still don't think our PGs have the fast break mentality. There are so many times I can hear SVG yelling "Run!" But Arroyo had a good game and I don't think there is any real reason to knock him.

Hey man im not writing this to make you mad. Its my opinion. But if you WATCH the game you know what im talking about. Im not in the arguement of Nelson and Arroyo so im making an unbiased opinion by watching the game. Thats nice that you like him and all but what im saying is true. He played well offensively, which he better when matched up with Telfair of all people who is downright terrible on defense. But by watching the game you KNOW that Arroyo killed many drives and overdribbled like a mother.

Im not knocking his offensive game. He played well offensively and scored points for us when we needed it. But its his PG abilites that are in question. He looks like a SG in a PGs body. Most of the game he would defer to Hedo, our best decision maker.

Dude this forum is about the MAGIC not Carlos only. There is no reason to be obsessed.

Its just my opinion. I like the guy, same with every Magic player. Since when have i been a guy to hate a player and bash him every game? I dont. Arroyo is a good guy and i like him but his PG abilities are what dont impress me. And you say it had a personal tone? Are you kidding me? Im spanish too..

NBA TV had Rashard with 16 points. Those guys don't know what they were doing. Earlier they showed the wrong highlights for the Laker game.

Bad decision making kept them in this game and you know it. We could have put them away early, but we made some mistakes and they came back. All the blame cant go on the PG, though. We need to work on defensive lapses and learn to stop runs quicker to be a great team.

Great game tonight, except for the 4th quarter lapse. Carlos played really well. Shard tore em' up from outside, Dwight tore em up inside. The wolves aren't a team we need to run and gun with. The pace was good. Dwight was a beast down low.

Wow, this thread really took off. Anyway, this game was extremely exciting to watch. Dwight FINALLY went berserk and showed us what he's capable of doing. 28 points and 16 boards... BEAST!!!! Arroyo really stepped it up with 18 points, and what can I say about Rashard cashing in with 27. Hell, Bogans had 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Very good win for us. Now we're going home to take on Toronto, should be a fun game.
