Would anyone be willing to trade Arroyo for Reggie Evans? I don't know if Philadelphia would want this deal, but they would have a nice back up to Andre Miller. Just a thought, but I don't think Philadelphia would take this deal.

I'm just thinking of different ways we could get a rebounder on our team.

SVG has stated that his lineup will consist of 8 or 9 players. We already have:
Nelson
Lewis
Bogans
Turk
Howard
Foyle
Dooling
Arroyo

The last spot will go to either Redick, Augustine, Ariza, or Garrity. I would have liked to see both Ariza and Redick in the rotation. Perhaps even Augustine because of our horrible rebounding numbers. I'm just a big fan of playing a deep rotation and having the bench bust their a** while they're in.

Yeah, seriously. They both have too much talent to just rot away on the bench for most of time. It's still extremely early in the season so like I said before I'm sure everything isn't set in stone quite yet.

Great to see us get another win. I missed this one as I was traveling, but Turk is starting the season hot. Go Magic.

Yes, Jameer shot poorly overall, but he also nailed three key three-pointers late in the game.

Agreed, Jameer shot poorly last night. But like you said, he hit the shots at the end when they mattered the most.

That was something he had trouble with last year; hopefully he can turn it around and be more clutch in the 4th quarter like he had been the two previous years.

So has Garrity. :/

But to not play AT ALL because he had A bad game. Surley wasn't only Arroyo's fault that we lost to Detroit. and if I may correct MM, Jameer has shot a bad percentage in all three of our games at a blazing 28%. Doesnt make sense. Still way to early but here come the "trade Arroyo, he's bringing down the entire sport of basketball" posts.

I'm not saying we should trade Arroyo, but the fact is he had a terrible game against Detroit and then got benched. He's not the only one who stunk against the Pistons, which leads me to believe that there's something else involved with his benching. Maybe he failed to get back on defense, an offense Stan has been known to punish. Or maybe Stan wanted to see what Keyon could do at the one instead of at the two. Maybe Carlos will play in Minnesota. We're only three games in and Stan is still toying with his rotation. We'll have a better idea of Carlos' status in another week or so.

For the record, we are undefeated this season when Carlos Arroyo does not play. ;)

A lot of folks on the net are speculating on a deal with the Kings to send them Arroyo. No idea how much weight that actually has, but it would expain the DNP.

I'm skeptical, especially since I would imagine we would want to see if we get that injury exception before jumping into a deal. That is actually the reason I've been holding out on creating a thread on the buzz.

What would we get in this Arroyo deal from the Kings?

That's what I want to know. I know Arroyo can be selfish with the ball at times but unless the deal is pretty good I don't want to ship him out for somebody who we're not sure will even make an impact right away. Though with our surplus of guards it's hard NOT to be open to these certain kinds of trades with teams.
