We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Well we got pwned. Washington is currently getting killed as well, so maybe it'll be a battle of the blown-outs tomorrow night. |

Going into tomorrow night, the Southeast will be a combined 3-5. The Hawks beat the Mavs tonight. |

The Hawks look good so far. The Southeast is going to be pretty competitive. It's not just the Magic, Wiz, and Heat. I think the Hawks could give us more trouble than either the Wiz or Heat. |

Hawks with the upset. They've got some skilled young players, and Joe Johnson is just plain awesome. |

Turk sucked. How many times did he just jack up a jump-shot out of frustration? And all those missed free-throws. Yuck. |

I like the fact that Nelson had 6ast/1to. He's not scoring too well, but if I had to choose, I'd rather him be racking up assists than overdribbling and taking lots of shots. I think he'll find a good balance as the season goes on...but so far, he's really working on being less of a scoring PG and more of the type of PG we've been hoping for. |

Yeah ill take the less points and lower TOs anyday from Nelson. Anyways, i thought for sure that we could beat them. Dwight still needs more work on those free throws. And idk what it is with SVG, but the bench has been really sucking. |

Jameer had that drive and dish going tonight. He should have gone to that move more often. SVG said that the problem started with him - coaching wise. He said that the line up from the get go was not effective against the Pistons so he took the blame for that. When the Pistons started to pull away, our guys took some ill advised shots - out of the poor offensive sets. Also we had a chance to get back into the game but there must have been a sequence in the 3rd where we missed 7 FTs in succession. That would have pulled us closer. There is ways to go for this team. I think we'll be alright though. It would be interesting how they will respond tomorrow after a bad loss. I think Dwight should stop talking and start dominating. He should demand the ball some more and get himself open at the post effectively. I hate the Pistons. I wonder what SVG will write to the board next....9? Are we just gonna keep counting? We need to beat Detroit, and I think it starts with Dwight doing what he said he would do. |

Well said... very good post. I was pretty happy with Jameer, I think his future rests on being more of a drive and dish PG instead of one who should just score. I thought Bogans did pretty well, drained all 4 of his three pointers. Dwight needs to work on his free throws, 4-9 isn't really that great at all. Rashard scored 21 points but the guy really doesn't do anything else whatsoever... is he really worth 120 million? Plain and simple, the Magic missed out on WAY too many offensive opportunities, and we couldn't grab an offensive rebound to save our life. I can't stand these friggin' Pistons and we need to start beating them because this is getting seriously annoying to watch. 9 wins against us now is pathetic. Also, the bench sucks and we are in desperate need of another big man. |

The stat that really jumps out at me is the rebounds. 7 total from our bench. That's crap. Rebounds come down to a level of intensity. Sounds like our team needs to get tougher in that area to be successful. |
