I thought of the same thing. But it would be against better judgment. That would risk injury, and also it would be better for him to rest up since they will have a tough sched starting Friday. |

Great game to be in attendance for as you knew it would be a great season opener when you have Bob Vander Weide on a green screen dressed up as vampire with the Magic girls doing their best 'Thriller' impression. I'm loving the hell out of our cheerleaders this season, yeah we could get some more hotties, but the dance routines and of course the DUNKING (only NBA team to have dunking dancers) are very well done. Our UCF girl Megan, created a highlight reel last night with some of those NASTY trampoline dunks, DAMN (all in a nurse's outfit too). Blue Man group at halftime was great, I CAN'T WAIT FOR QUICK CHANGE ON FRIDAY!!! To the game, I did record the whole 4th quarter, start of the game, and a few other points, as well as the Magic girls dunking on the Magic players' intro. I think we're the only NBA team to have 3 PA Announcers under contract as Paul Porter and the other guy weren't available, but at least this 3rd guy is a sh*tload better than the annoying 2nd guy. No one can touch Paul though, legend for life. Anyway, don't need to say anything when it comes to Dwight, Rashard, and Hedo as they brought us a special night. The sellout crowd got nervous as hell though down 7 in the 2nd quarter with Arroyo at the point, but once Jameer, Rashard and Dwight came back in, we were good from then on. Jameer did a very nice job tonight considering his shot wasn't falling as he is continuing to dish the ball off penetration. Arroyo was average at best I'd say, and I solely blame him for f*cking up our blowout victory (should've been 30+, not 19). Pat just puts a smile on my face, still hesitated to shoot, but when he lets that ball loose, it looks good. Always hustling on both ends. he'll definitely average 10 minutes a night. I think SVG was trying to avoid using Trevor because of the needed outside shooting threats, but he used him well when defense of absolutely needed. Trevor I don't think is completely healthy (especially after that sick dunk Desmond Mason laid on him late in the game, wow). I had figured JJ would get a few minutes and wouldn't be able to produce much with that hand injury, so you can't judge him until we know he's healthy. Kebo got screwed over on some calls as he played some damn fine defense. Still stuck it to the Bucks with 2 very important 3s. Keyon is also shaking rust off but he didn't hurt us. Adonal had a rough 1st half, but more than made up for it in the 2nd half (Otis gave him and Pat props this morning on the Dan Sileo Show). Augustine in limited minutes only had one shot opportunity but played his role on defense. Yi got some help from the refs, but looked bad other than drilling those nice turnaround fadeaway jumpers. It's spectacular to see only 10 turnovers, great free throw and 3-point shooting, and ball movement. I was shown on the JumboTron 3 times (the most being at the start of the 4th quarter, I was jacked the f*ck up). Detroit will be a fun test Friday, can't wait. LET'S GET A SELLOUT STREAK GOING!!! |

I hope Detroit walks in tomorrow with the same game plan they had against us in the playoffs. If they do, they're in for a rude awakening. |

Very impressive game, I was heavily satisfied with the performances of Dwight, Rashard, and Turk. All-around solid game, let's hope the Magic can bring the same amount of energy to the game against the Pistons later today. |
