We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. I saw this on another board, and I thought I'd post it here. I checked Bodog.com to make sure all of these records were accurate, and what's good about these rankings is that money is on the line, so the odds of these records occuring are probably more accurate than some "expert" who can just write whatever he/she wants and hope it comes true.

Chicago 50.5
Detroit 50.5
Cleveland 49
Boston 49
Orlando 47.5
Miami 44.5
New Jersey 43.5
Toronto 42.5
----------------------
Washington 40
Atlanta 38.5
New York 36
Milwaukee 36
Charlotte 35.5
Philly (no line listed)
Indiana 31.5

I don't know about you all, but I'm surprised they have Orlando at 47.5 wins. That means if you bet OVER, the Magic would have to win 48 games for you to make any money. The interesting thing, however, is that to the best of my knowledge the Magic went OVER Bodog.com's predictions the past two seasons.

If I had to make any bet, I think I'd go with OVER on Toronto. Or UNDER on Miami.

Take the under on Cleveland and the over on Boston.

Push on Orlando. :/

Definitely the under on Cleveland. I'd also go under on Atlanta.

Great to hear Orlando is that high. I predicted 47 wins a while back so great to know I've got the same mindset as a slew of sleazy gamblers! Woo!

Everyone is rating Boston way too high. They will win games but i really dont think they will be as good as everyone expects them to be.

I don't know if I like the over, but how do I bet on this? lol Do I have to drive to Vegas or just locate a good bookie. ;)

Completely agree. Besides the big 3, they are pretty thin and Doc Rivers isn't the best coach in the world either. He relies WAY too much on his stars. I think Allen will be injured at some point in the season and the story of the season will be how Boston wasn't as good as everyone thought.

Marc Stein is absolutely in love with the Celtics for some reason, and I think he's in for a rude awakening, when he realizes that they are good, but nothing special. He keeps bashing Minnesota, but I think they got some good talent for KG. Jefferson will be an all-star and I think Green has the potential to be something special.

I also agree about Boston. If any of those guys miss time, which is likely since a lot of NBA players miss time, they are sunk. Just not a deep team at all.

With a coach like SVG, over 47.5 wins easy. 8-)

Exactly why i am glad i grabbed Al Jefferson to be on my fantasy team. The guy got 27/17 last night - in a preseason game!

Judging just by preseason, the Celtics have been mediocre and seem to not share the ball very well. And besides their top 3, they basically have a team filled with D-league players.

Like I've said before. There have been too many teams with similar situations to Boston's that have failed for me to just hand them the east.

And I'm not trying to be a homer here, but against Orlando, SVG is going to go deep down his bench to keep his players fresh for the uptempo offense. A thin, aging team like Boston, IMO, will have alot of trouble keeping up. Thats why I like Orlando over Detroit in a 7 game series.

I think Boston is doing what Miami did with Shaq. Who knows...maybe this trio will bring them a championship...but that's about it. They won't be players for long.
