YouTube videos from the game will be uploading now and probably tomorrow as well.

So tonight's 99-90 victory really felt like a normal regular season game because neither team went to their 3rd stringers (except the Spurs late in the 4th quarter and we were up by 13 by that point).

Rashard finally got to play a full game and heated up in the 2nd half (he'll be ready come Wednesday).
The 1st half was pretty ugly trying to get Rashard, Keyon, and Trevor to coexist on the court with the other guys but the 2nd half was beautiful as we outplayed San Antonio.

KEBO IS ON FIRE RIGHT NOW. After tonight's game he will have shot over 60% from 3-point range on the preseason. Other than his entry passing, Kebo is a shoe-in to start opening night at the SG spot.

Dwight was also shaky early and didn't shoot a jumper all night, but still managed a nice double double.

Jameer held on to the ball too much tonight, as did Chuck who had the shooting percentage of his life (shot 8 of 10 from the field) but if you watch my videos, he again took some outlandish shots and missed a Michael Jordan-like lay-in.
Overall though, as long as Jameer and Carlos are going to the basket and taking just open shots, I can't complain.

Hedo again seems to have a quiet game but still gets into double figures (he's like a magician just secretly scoring).

PG only played 9 minutes but made one 3-pointer that was very nice in making a comeback early in the game.

Trevor and Keyon both had their ugly moments in the 1st half, but turned it on in the 2nd half as both drilled jumpers.

ADONAL FOYLE IS A MANIMAL WITH HIS 4 BLOCKS, 8 POINTS, AND 7 BOARDS.

Loved the post game interviews of SVG, Adonal, Jameer, and Rashard. This team has a bit of a swagger, but not a very cocky one which I love.
WE'RE READY FOR OPENING NIGHT!!!

Wow the glaring stat line is Foyles awesome defense. 4 blocks? Who said he cant fill the void left by Darko?

Wonderful to see that Lewis got a good amount of minutes and played pretty well, but didnt shoot a great percent.

Great bench play, finally we get to see most of the guys in action together. This looks like a totally different team so far, i think were ready to start the season!

And after these strong showings by Arroyo in the preseason, i wouldnt be shocked to see him get the start for the 1st regular season game Wednesday.

No way Arroyo starts, he still has many flaws.

Early 1st quarter:

I literally got about 80% of the game (including the entire 1st half), but there were some ugly parts in the 1st half that didn't need to be put up on YouTube.

Bianchi is at it again. He really has to always put a damper on things. Here is his article mocking SVG (although he had it was not his intention).

Bianchi Article

This is not meant to mock Van Gundy; I'm sure he really would like the Magic to play an entertaining, energetic, dashing, dynamic style of basketball. But, in the end, do you really think this year's style is going to look a whole lot different than the style of last year...or the year before...or the year before?

You see, coaches like to say they're going to play "up-tempo" and "aggressive" because, well, that's what fans and players want to hear.

Bianchi is a tool.

Considering that the Florida Today is beating the sh*t out of the O-Sen's coverage, no one, ESPECIALLY BIANCHI, has the right to make any criticisms.

“Again, tonight was about getting minutes for guys and getting a look at some things that we really haven’t seen a lot, and that lineup actually started the third quarter pretty well so I thought that was good. It meant a lot of minutes for Adonal [Foyle] because he played the whole fourth quarter too so he had to play 26 minutes tonight, which I think is the most that he has played but those two guys [Foyle and Howard] between them get 19 points and 20 rebounds, that’s pretty impressive.” - SVG

“I think it’s been a fun transition for me. I’m really starting to enjoy the game again and really playing with reckless abandonment. When you play Dwight everyday in practice, it’s like when you go play against any body else, it makes it difficult. But you know that no one is going to be as physical and gifted as this young fellow. I feel that playing him in practice, and running up and down and having a coach that really respects what I can do on the floor, I think it’s helped a lot in transition into every part of the game.”  - Adonal Foyle

Quote:

(On Dwight getting assists by throwing out of double teams) “He’s the one that’s going to get a lot more assists; he’s doing a better job of finding the open man and making better passes out of the post. But being the assist leader of the team, I don’t know about that, man. I might have a little problem with that.” - Jameer Nelson

I have a feeling Adonal Foyle will be a pleasant surprise to most of us this season. I really do believe that playing in Orlando will help rejuvenate him, because all he's been saying ever since he got here was how good he felt and how happy he was to be in this situation.
