We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.
Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

I dont see why not either. I'm not ready to hand anything to Boston until they can prove something. I can see us being better than Detroit in this uptempo offense and they're aging players. Really, who else is there? Cavs? The Heat? I dont see why we cant win the Division either. |

What else did you expect him to say anyway? "Umm, I think the Pistons will win the East and the Bulls will probably be behind them. I expect us to finish around 4th and get a second round exit at best." It would be nice to win the East, but I think we need to worry about the regular season first. This team makes a bunch of claims and doesn't back it up on the court. Howard makes predictions about winning the championship last year and this year. Let's see how the regular season goes first. |

You know, he could have waffled or done the "I think we have a good chance" (aka the Grant Hill), but no instead he said it like "Of course we're winning the east." Like this new Jameer. |

As I think about it, Carlos and Jameer must read these boards all the time and crack up about it. |

And I heard that Jameer and Carlos are very close buddies off the court. |

I said the same thing last week. It seems like they have too many players that are going to want playing time. I think ego's are going to kicking in. |

I hope like hell he's right, but I don't like our chances. With that being said as mentioned before, it's wide open. You can't be sold on Boston yet, not sure how the new guys will all gel. Jersey, Detroit, Cleveland, Miami...while all good and with a chance to win the East, none of those teams are a gimme. Could be wide open. |
