We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. ESPN projected us to finish 4th in the East. Wow! ESPN 2007-2008 Season Projection I think the Celtics should be much higher than #3. But wow!, us at number 4!?! I guess some of them noticed. It says that with the improvements we made in the offseason a 5 game improvement is a pretty decent expectation this season. I totally agree! What do you guys think? |

I would take on detroit in the playoffs again, with a new coach, a go to guy. and a style of play thats not pedictable. I would want us to play a real team to have a true idea of how good our team is. There's no better way to do that than playing one of the best teams in the east. |

we will have homecourt advantage if that prediction comes true. We will need that against a team like Detroit. |

I really liked this riiiight until I read Hollinger had the Hawks ranked 7th in the East. Is he drunk? There's going out on a limb and then there is just ridiculous. |

I'd also welcome a matchup with them. I'm just saying it's funny that no matter what we do, we inevitably face Detroit in the first round.
He lives in Atlanta, so there's probably bias there. |

Kenny Smith (Yahoo!) has us not making the post season in his pre-season ranking. Yahoo! Ranking
"Not enough firepower"? "no 20-point man"? |

So he's saying that Rashard is going to score less than 20 a game? Or he's saying that if Rashard played for a good team he'd score less than 20? |

Mr. Anderson

He is saying the latter. Like Rashard can't be a 20-point man in a good team. Someone should print this and tape it on Rashard's locker. |

He said none of them is a 20pt scorer. We have Turkoglu and Dwight Howard. That's 2. |
