We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. It looks like all the players are ready for camp. Click the link below for the complete interview. "Catching up with the Players" Some interesting tidbits: 1) JJ's hand doesn't seem like a big deal. He believes he will be ready for camp. 2) Trevor has concentrated on shooting in the offseason. I am excited to see the improvement - he would be deadly if he can hit his mid-range shots consistently. 3) Jameer is tough. It must have been a very difficult summer for him after his dad's tragic death. 4) Gortat is excited to start his NBA career. 5) Rashard is a pro and understands his huge role on the team. Of course everyone expects to "win (the championship)", but so far with all of them eager to start the camp, it's a good start. |

Great post gomagic. I love things like this because it gives great views on all the guys. I especailly like when Trevor was asked about his off season workouts and he responded "Shooting, shooting, and more shooting". Hes got tremendous upside, the only downside to his game was shooting so if he can get that down... then wow we have another legitimate scorer and go to guy. Its definitley good that all the players seem to think very highly of Stan. Ive heard many times that hes a great teacher so maybe he can instill that fire and attitude we need to get to the next level. and i just love this quote by Rashard Lewis "I want to bring a championship to Orlando, and once we get that one then we are going to be greedy and try to get another one"

Thanks guys. I was just curious that Foyle was not there. He must be reading poetry somewhere. ![]() |

Turk was nowhere to be found, either. Kruger played on the Magic's summer-league team after playing collegiately at UNLV. He's a point guard and would probably become the next Travis Diener in terms of playing time, specialty, and fan interest. |
