What do you guys expect? Predictions anyone?

What will our record be?
Will we win enough games to get in the playoffs in the newly tougher Eastern Conference?
Will we make the playoffs? How far will we go? Any chance to beat some perenial playoff teams?
Will we get real and stop losing to the "bad" teams?
Will Dwight take the next step?
Will Lewis be the go to guy we desperately need?
Is Nelson going to finally prove hes the PG of the future?
Will SVG be a huge contribution like everyone is expecting?
Will the loss of Hill and Darko hurt us on offense and/or defense? Will they be sorely missed?
Do we have the 2 and 4 spots covered?
Will Gortat have an impact this season?

Any questions answered is great. Not expecting anyone to answer them all lol

Any other thoughts/opinions please post too.

I cant wait for the season to begin!

I don't think 50 wins is out of the question. I wouldn't call it likely, but based on our point differential (which was positive, believe it or not), we should have won 43 games last year. Since I think this year's roster is an improvement over last year's, we should be able to surpass that total.

45 wins and 2nd in the Southeast (behind Washington) sounds reasonable, especially if Turk gets back on-track (or if we trade him for a serviceable PF...) and Ariza finds a way to contribute more offensively.

Like BenQ , my expectations for this coming season is about 45 wins. It will be difficult to get 50+ wins specially some big names moving to the Eastern conference over the summer.

I am excited on how this new Magic team would do.

Thats one thing many Magic fans forget. Alot of big name stars migrated from the west to the east so this season could be considerably harder to get to the playoffs. Unless we just blow last season out of the water. Anyways, i expect around 45 wins like you guys.

50 wins is a lot harder than some fans realize. Sure, the team loses 32 games in the process, but if you think about it, 50 wins means a .610 winning percentage, which in baseball would be the same as winning about 99 games.

I'm predicting 41-45 wins this season. After that great start last season, we were mediocre the rest of the way. I'm not expecting too much, but I will be disappointed if we don't make the playoffs. We should be at least as good as last season's team, but considering we paid all that money for Rashard, expectations will be much, much higher...but unfortunately, I don't think we're going to be but a few wins better at most. Like Jax Magic said, I just hope they finish above .500 this season.

I think that the Magic are very capable of surprising a lot of people and getting the 4 spot in the East. A lot of their moves have been scrutinized this offseason, but as long as everyone stays healthy (key word), I think they have improved.
Since the 4 spot last year was held by the Raptors, and they won 47, I'm going to pick that number for the Magic this upcoming season.

My predictions have been off the past 3 years. So no more predictions for me. We watched the Magic jump out with a fast start in JD's last year and BH's last year, only to fade during the course of the season.

Just hope SVG can duplicate the success he had at Miami.
