We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.
Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

Just another example of something I was discussing late last season. Darko does have a fiery spirit - just not when it comes to NBA basketball. |

see where is this anger when he played for the magic, if he showed that kind of intensity then he probably would have gotten an offer |

Well that's the thing. He doesn't seem to care as much about playing overseas (the NBA) than he does about playing for his country. Maybe one day he'll be comfortable enough to play here with the type of intensity that he displays in tourneys, but for the time being he's a quiet, disinterested person out there on the court. Edit: And I'm not saying that it's right or wrong of him to be less passionate about the NBA. It's just an observation I've made during the course of his time with the Magic. I think his initial stint with the Pistons and lack of playing time has something to do with it. He's used to being the prima donna of a team, and Larry Brown sapped his spirit (though it was just a bad situation all around - Darko was not going to start on an elite team like that anyways). |

Does anyone have a translation of his full comments? I've heard some rumors that it was pretty bad, but all I've seen are some small quips and such, not a full translation of the question and his answer. |
