NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

Pat Garrity just doesn't believe the reports of his demise. His basketball career is not over yet.

Garrity, as much as anyone on the roster, could benefit from the offseason changes made by the Orlando Magic, giving him reason to work harder than he ever has leading into the start of training camp next month.

And despite being put into cold storage last season, Garrity remains one of the best long-distance shooters on the roster. :haha:

"Let's just say it [the change of coaches] isn't going to hurt me,'' Garrity said last week. "I'm really excited because I always admired the way Miami played [under Van Gundy], and now I'll get a chance to be part of that here. I'm optimistic.''

"It was frustrating. I'm not saying I was miserable, but you want to contribute, and you want to be out there, and I just wasn't,'' he said. "So anytime you've got a new coaching staff, it's a clean slate. We've made changes, and that should be good.''

The Magic have offered him in a variety of trade scenarios -- one of which involved going to Denver for Reggie Evans -- but it's likely he will start this season in Orlando.
Yeah he can contribute to bench warming and gatorade passing, but thats about it.

Ah yes, but a good joke even if it was lovingly hand crafted by yours truly :D
