We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Ok I was mistaken the Magic posted the following:MAGIC TV NETWORK MY 65 WRBW Orlando is the flagship station for game broadcasts on the Magic Television Network. This season, MY 65 will air thirty-five (35) MagicTV broadcasts in the Orlando area, which includes Dodge Countdown to Magic, the half-hour pre-game show. MY 65 viewers can also listen to games en Espanol by selecting the Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) option on their television set. Magic TV broadcasts can also be seen across the state, on WXPX TV66 in Tampa, WPXC TV21 in Jacksonville and on WMTG MY11 in Gainesville. See our flagships and affiliates page for the MagicTV affiliate broadcast schedule. All Magic TV games are produced internally by Magic Broadcasting. ADDITIONAL TV PROGRAMMING Jeep Midnight Magic is a weekly half-hour program that airs in Orlando on WKMG Local 6 each Sunday night at midnight during the season and re-airs each Monday evening at 6pm on Sun Sports. Produced by Magic Broadcasting, the show provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Magic organization both on and off the court. SUN SPORTS Sun Sports is the regional cable outlet for Magic basketball. It will produce and air forty-two (42) Magic games this season. Each telecast will be preceded by a 30-minute pre-game show, Magic Tonight, hosted by Paul Kennedy. Sun Sports is a 24-hour regional sports network that reaches 6.3 million homes throughout the state of Florida. Again this season, Sun Sports is proud to air Magic games in high definition. Satellite Viewers: Viewers in the Magic TV territory of Northern and Central Florida who have satellite service will see Sun Sports' telecasts of selected Magic games on a nearby alternate sports channel. The alternate channel number for each of these select games will be assigned by DirecTV and DISH Network on a weekly basis and can be found by searching DirecTV and DISH Network's on-screen guide. They can also be found day of game on www.sunsportstv.com. These channels are different from Sun Sports' usual channel locations, so viewers should look to these alternate channels if a selected Magic game is not being seen on Sun Sports' primary channel. But I did read on their website that they would not broadcast on 65 I don't know why they said that then retracted it unless alot of people were upset about losing their Magic which I would image is the case since the games will be broadcast now on SUN & 65. ec23456 |

Great news! I am happy that we effectively solified our backup big men with Foyle and Gortat. I guess we will see if that Evans thing comes to fluition or if we are done.

Very Good News. I definitely like Foyle signing better than the possibility of Oakley. |

Great news. If he can step up his game a bit, he won't be much of a drop off from Darko, at least defensively and on rebounding. |

Don't really care too much about this signing. Foyle is just a big man that we can throw in there to give Dwight a breather. |

Not only is he a big man that we can throw in to give Dwight a breather, hes exactly what we needed. A back up who can play defense well and thats what we got. |

I don't know if we got that, this is the same guy who couldn't even get playing time on a GS team that needed a def big and played the same style that magic want to play. I agree with magiclive we just got a guy who could give Dwight a breather. And i thought we were going after Skinner too, would much rather have him. |

Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
|
Yep. He's a good backup center who can get some fouls and give a breathe to Dwight. And a change in scenery may be good for him. I don't think he is as bad as some people point out. I expect him to get 10 minutes per night, 2 pts 4 rbds and a block. That'd be good for a backup center in this team and that spot is closed. Now for that PF spot things are very different... Battie? Not starter material on a team hoping to go far in the playoffs. I love the guy for his profile and attitude but he's a great backup PF in a team who has high hopes, not more. Lewis at the 4? Oh god, I really hope not. Gortat and Augustine?:\ We still need a legit PF, but I don't see it coming with the vet minimum exception... only in a trade. Evans and JR for Arroyo and Garrity? Hell yeah, it'd be to good to be true even if Evans isn't the best PF out there. |

I totally agree. Battie shouldnt start, Evans would be nice. But if worst comes to worst, then give Gortat a chance at the 4 spot. He looks like he can contribute more than Battie, Augie, and of course Garrity. |

I pretty much expect Battie to start unless a trade does occur between now and the end of the offseason, which i doubt or they are really serious about this small lineup with Lewis at PF, which i can't believe. The only spot up for debate in my opinion is the SG position where I see bogans, Turk, Ariza, Dooling, and Redick fighting for it. I want Ariza to start but my gut is saying that they will must likely put hedo at that position at beinning and he may lose it sometime during the season. I see a lineup lineup like this: Dwight/foyle/augustine Battie/gortat/pat Lewis/ariza Hedo/redick/bogans Nelson/Arroyo/Dooling |

He was a victim of GS's rotation and the type of team Nelly puts out on the court which is typically small ball, Foyle isn't going to overwhelm but he can still block shots and could probablly grab more boards per game than Darko if given the minutes. not suggesting that he's a starter, just a better rebounder and not as soft as darko, but also not as effective offensively. But thats not what we signed him for now is it. Now Foyal is from Canouan, Grenadines so try not to hate if we get some Canouan, Grenadineians cheering for him.
