I really don't see us trading any of those guys for some reason.

Well, my concern was mostly that what team would trade a big man for a guard? We would probably have to package them together to get a big.

No matter who we get, they will only be backups getting spot minutes anyway.

Hot rumor out of Miami is that they are looking to deal Udonis Haslem to shore up their PG and SF lack of depth.

It's on Yahoo! Sports.

Ummmm....BINGO!

Trade Hedo and Arroyo for Haslem.

Then

C - Howard/Battie/Gortat
PF - Haslem/Battie/Augustine
SF - Shard/Ariza/Bogans
SG - Redick/Dooling/Bogans
PG - Nelson/Dooling

Of course, I doubt Orlando would trade with Miami, but I'd be happy with that lineup.

I guess the real question is "Are these guys really an improvement for Augustine and/or Gortat?" The only guy on that list that I really think is better is Brian Skinner. Kandi, Cato, Sweetney, and Tsakalidis are all more experienced...but I'm not so sure they are better options.

I also doubt Miami is willing to do this trade with Orlando. This deal could haunt them or us and could ruin front office careers.

That said, I wouldn't mind getting Haslem for Turk and Arroyo.

Out of the all of the options mentioned in the article I would go with Skinner. He isn't that bad and would be a very solid backup. The question is whether the money is enough for him.

Out of the players out there, it will probably just come down to who DOESN'T get signed by someone else towards the end of free agency as opposed to who we target.

That's if something can be worked out with Nelson for next season. If not then what?? Yeah the Orlando-Miami Trade probley won't get done but it's an excellent thought for an NBA Trade!

Jake Voskuhl has agreed to terms with the Bucks.
Does that make Brian Skinner available? And how sad is it that we're worrying about Brian freaking SKINNER's availability?

The Orlando Magic still have the option of making a trade for a backup big man, offering one of their backup guards, such as Keith Bogans, Carlos Arroyo or Keyon Dooling. Or they could use those players in a sign-and-trade for one of the better free agents available.

Nothing new. Its been expected.

Well, I wouldn't exactly be enamored with that, either. However, if we decided to use Dooling exclusively as a PG instead of putting him at both spots, it would probably keep him rested enough to play that role. Maybe we could also bring Kevin Kruger back in to shore up the PG depth?

This trade is a pipe dream, so don't get too caught up over it. It would be a great addition to bring in a proven bruiser like Haslem.

I'm still hoping for Skinner.
