Drafting Marbury + Foyle = Championship. \o/
^^you have issues.
You have 9 posts here and half of them are insults. And insults to people who have shown more class in their posts than you'll ever dream to have on yours.

And BTW, if I say: "I'm an all-star caliber PG, but I still haven't reached 10% of my potential", does that make me an all-star caliber PG who still hasn't reached 10% of his potential?

Well, I personally would rather see Dooling come off of the bench, if only so we could use him to spell either the SG or the PG.  There are still some potential deals to be made, and my guess is that with SVG's ties to Dooling, Arroyo would probably go first.  I think I would rather see this starting lineup, personally

Howard - duh
Battie - experience and toughness, he's good at getting teammates open with solid off-the-ball play
Shard - see Howard
Ariza - I think this is the year people outside of Orlando start noticing him as a Bruce Bowen type defender.
Jameer - he'll improve this season.

You just said, on the last page, that you think this team is best suited to have Dooling start at the 2. :D

Magic Man Evan

Arch Duke

"Orlando has really seen just a little bit of Dwight Howard," he said. "There are a lot of things that I need to do to get better. I don't really think I have scratched the surface of the things I know I am capable of doing, but each year and each game is an experience for me. And really I am just so excited right now, it's hard to explain."- Dwight Howard

Are you guys the Male version of the View?

i back up my comment (nba caliber playing howard) and stuck in the 80's pizza eating turtle lover edits my comments, do you get your jollies off Evan opening a forum then choosing what gets posted and who its posted under you snake?

Woody Paige has entered the building.

pache,Jul. 13 2007 08:05 AM] I think Dooling will step up this season, and will get the starting role at 2. He's way better defender than Redick, and with some more minutes he'll rich 10 ppg easily!

... and I'm praying to Fran come this year! He'll make us forget about Darko

We'll still have a good size advantage across the board except maybe at the 1. If Jameer struggles on defense against a bigger 1, then we can bring Dooling off the bench to spell him. I personally think it will be Ariza/JJ switching time at the 2.

And forget about Fran. We'll be Marcin "to the beat of a different drum" when Gortat comes in!!! :whatever:

I would prefer this starting lineup:

1. Nelson - with Arroyo and maybe Cabezas (if he's coming he'll be the best defensive PG of the magic... is a pity that he's only 6'1 :X) coming off of the bench. Dooling would get his minutes at 1 to defend bigger guys.
2. Dooling - JJ getting ~ 20 mpg.
3. Ariza - Turk'll come off of the bench. Lewis at 3 to get a higher 5.
4. Lewis - SVG is saying that he's seeing Magic only with Howard at the middle. Battie come off of the bench to make the ugly work.
5. Howard - and Marcin?

If SVG is serious about Dwight being the only guy in the middle, my concern is the wear and tear on guys like Shard and Hedo when they have to cover bigger targets. Both guys will get shoved around. But we'll see what SVG's plans are.

Thank goodness someone knows the difference between 'your' and 'you're'. That annoys the crap out of me. Is this not taught in 1st or 2nd grade anymore?

To get back on track, I think the team will be just fine. SVG will find a way to make things work.

My biggest issue is how our defense will be with those people on the floor. Shard guarding those big PFs makes me worry about his health long term.
