NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Best of luck to you in Phoenix, Grant. I hope you find what you're looking for.

Mr. Anderson
As a Grant Hill fan, I am sad to see him leave the team. But I guess it's time for both parties to move on. I'm not sure that Phoenix will be able to win a championship next season though. If he really wanted to win, he should have signed with the Spurs. Anyway, time for the Magic to move on as well.

Good luck in Phoenix Grant!

I'm curious to see how well Grant will be able to move in that up-tempo Suns offense.

REPLACING GRANT

J.J. Redick: The former No. 1 pick wanted more playing time, and now he certainly figures to get it. He's a shooter, but will his defensive deficiencies be exposed with more court time?

Keyon Dooling: Dooling bypassed the chance to be a free agent this summer when he picked up the option on his original three-year contract. He'll earn an estimated $3.5 million and now will have opportunity and incentive to play for a bigger deal.

Keith Bogans: He shot 40 percent from the floor and averaged a career-low 5.1 points per game last year. Even for a defensive specialist, the numbers were disappointing.

I'd go with JJ, he has the best potential out of them all. But that's obvious.
