Grant Hill has decided to sign with the Phoenix Suns to hopefully hitch a ride to an NBA title, leaving the Orlando Magic after seven injury-racked, mostly unfulfilled seasons.

He will sign with the Suns for the $1.2 million veteran's exception, which is all Phoenix was willing to offer.

Hill, whose seven-year, $93 million contract with the Magic expired after the past season, apparently was eyeing the Suns from the start of the NBA free-agency signing period.

No loss there. He's got one year left and he wouldn't do much to help us out now.

All right, I will say it: The future is now. We are officially rid of that McGrady-Hill offseason and now every player on our roster will be expected to contribute night in and night out.

All the best Grant and good luck.

I have tremendous respect for Hill, but I've lost a bit with this move. Still love the guy. I'm sure that most of you don't care what Hill does because he's such a nice guy, but this isn't the right move to make. It's his decision and he can do whatever he wants, but it would have been nice for him to give us one year at $1.2 million.

This is why I have a ton of respect for Reggie Miller. He stuck with his team no matter what. It says a lot about you when you do something like that. Once again, I'm not bashing Hill. I knew he wasn't coming back for awhile now. I just disagree with this move and I've lost a little bit of respect. Not much, but a little.

Best of luck to you, Grant! I hope the Suns can win it all next year.............that's if we are not in the finals with them, lol.

Garrity's drink passing technique is flawless. He's earning that money.

Good luck Grant! We have bigger and better players at your position now - your not needed.

I dont think he will get that much playing time like he did here because they have their positions set with better players than he is.

I wish the best for Grant. I always thought it was best for both parties to move on. Howard and Lewis is the face of our franchise now.

I hated the Suns before that will give me more reason to not like them. I hope he gets hurt for being so greedy instead of giving back to the Magic for all those free checks he received, he takes the easy road. I lost all the respect I had for the guy.

Good F**king riddance. This guy was a pure financial cancer on the Magic and I'm not sad to see his fragile a** go. Later!

Hi Guys!

I like Grant Hill as a person, but I`m happy to see him leave the organisation. Sure it would be nice to have a guy like him a 6th Man and then moving into the front office but I understand his choice to play for a title.

I hope now this will be a new beginning for him as well for the Magic. Our young guys will get more minutes and we don`t have to get angry with his medical status.

So Grant - I wish you all the best in Phoenix and a lot of success but not so much success like we will have next year :D 8-)

Bye

Whizzy

One of my favorite players of all time, and nothing but a class act. I still think he has some fuel left in the tank, but it sucks to see him go. Good luck in Phoenix, Grant.
