We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. Grant Hill will decide on a team soon, the East Valley Tribune reports:
Quote:

The Suns had their turn at selling free agent forward Grant Hill on Phoenix on Tuesday. Now comes the waiting.

Suns general manager Steve Kerr talked with Hill and his agent, Lon Babby, by telephone. Kerr was home in San Diego, while Hill was with his wife in Orlando, Fla. — where the couple is expecting a baby soon. Hill is expected to make his decision within two to three days.

“We had a good discussion, but nothing has happened,” Kerr said. “We should find out where we stand fairly soon.”

The AZCentral website corroborates the story, but with a twist:
Quote:

Hill also is considering Detroit, San Antonio, Miami and a surprise - Dallas. Hill was born and lived a portion of his boyhood in Dallas, where his father, Calvin, played six years for the NFL's Cowboys.

Orlando not among the teams? Yikes. :/

Looks like our shooting-guard rotation next year is J.J. Redick/Keyon Dooling/Keith Bogans. :X

I hate when players just want to just go to contenders, they like everything in a gold platter so that they dont have to work hard. Whatever happened to the days were people were actually proud of turning franchises around???

Yeah, I don't want Grant to go either...that vet leadership is a nice thing to have...who knows, with Darko probably gone, maybe we can work something out to keep Grant.

There is still some time. I've thought for a while he would probably leave, but I was hoping he would like to try to win here with a new and improved roster.

As long as he doesn't choose Miami I don't care where he goes. I would love to see us get something in return in a sign and trade and I think the Suns would accomodate us.
