The Knicks have already said that the only players they would consider packaging David Lee for would be Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett.

I love all the good things that Artest can bring, but he has the potential to ruin the season during any given game.

I can't believe you people are talking about getting David freaking Lee and you dont want artest. Are you guys kidding me? Everyone looks at his attitude and the negatives he "could" bring. What about the positives have you seen the guys numbers and what he can do defensively?

We could potentially have a lineup that includes Lewis, Artest, and Dwight!! Who cares who we get to back up Tony at the 5 and dwight at the 4!!

David Lee is a pipe dream. But he has local ties (UF grad, blech, but it is meaningful for some) and is a selfless player that rebounds well. We won't get him, but BOY would it be nice.

Artest, meanwhile, is a locker-room cancer with a reputation for doing very, VERY stupid things. Sure, he's a great defender, and a good scorer when he needs to be, but these kind of players never work out in the long run.

I'll cheer for him if they bring him here...but I would be wary, as well.

Typical Knicks. But truthfully, none of their other players are desirable at all. Every other player is pretty much a headcase in one way or another.
