We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

The Knicks have already said that the only players they would consider packaging David Lee for would be Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett. I love all the good things that Artest can bring, but he has the potential to ruin the season during any given game. |

David Lee is a pipe dream. But he has local ties (UF grad, blech, but it is meaningful for some) and is a selfless player that rebounds well. We won't get him, but BOY would it be nice. Artest, meanwhile, is a locker-room cancer with a reputation for doing very, VERY stupid things. Sure, he's a great defender, and a good scorer when he needs to be, but these kind of players never work out in the long run. I'll cheer for him if they bring him here...but I would be wary, as well. |

Typical Knicks. But truthfully, none of their other players are desirable at all. Every other player is pretty much a headcase in one way or another. |
