Kobe: "I would like to be traded."

Kobe Bryant tells Stephen A. Smith on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York that he wants to be traded from the Lakers -- and that there's nothing the Lakers can do to change his mind. Listen
"I would like to be traded, yeah," Bryant said on 1050 ESPN Radio in New York. "Tough as it is to come to that conclusion there's no other alternative, you know?"

Bryant, interviewed by Stephen A. Smith, was asked if there was anything the Lakers could do to change his mind. "No," Bryant said. "I just want them to do the right thing."

Well, I'm sure we'll be hearing about this for the next 80 years or so. :r

This is huge. Its spreading all throughout the internet and ESPN. Kobe better not try to go back on this one. Its not a definite that they will trade him though, they dont have to. But they will have a very unhappy Kobe if they dont. I wonder where he would end up? I thought about Kobe in a Magic uni, then i realized that it would never happen

Almost every team in the league is going to have at least some sort of interest in Kobe. If he is indeed traded, it'll be one of the biggest NBA trades in the last 15-20 years easily.

Agreed. We dont have enough pieces to get him but if he forces a trade there might be a chance.

Outside of Dwight, I don't really think we have enough for him.

i'm already sick of this story.
he's not gonna be traded. bottom line. no team is gonna give up 3 or more of there best players for 29 year old, 88 some odd million Kobe. not gonna happen.

According to ESPN, Kobe does NOT want to be traded anymore. he talked with Phil and is now saying that this is "his team." i hate this guy.
