Actually, scratch Mo Williams from that list. Dude wears #25, and there can only be one #25 for the Magic.

...and we'll just forget Chris Gatling ever happened.

EDIT: replaced Nick Anderson image; we broke the Tripod one.

I don't know, it's going to be tough to try and sway Rashard Lewis over to Orlando when you have Darko demanding a large amount of money. Eventually, it's going to come down to either keeping Darko or signing Rashard. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to take my chances with Lewis. I know most people would like a dominating big man alongside Dwight, but we finally get a dynamic wing-scorer in Rashard Lewis. As for replacing Darko, just grab a guy who hustles and plays good defense. Someone like a Tony Battie or something like that.

Wait a minute, Has Darko "demanded" anything?

I don't think he's demanded anything, but he already makes $5M a year, so you gotta figure he wants that to go up to $8-$10M.

I'm just curious...

Not yet obviously, but it seems like he's going to be demanding more money this summer.

He's younger, cheaper, and has the same skill set. He's also more versatile and plays good defense to boot.

Ok, fair enough.

I've just always kinda liked Lewis, so I'm pulling for him to be our big signee.

Lewis has range making him more versitile. Wallace reminds me of what I think Ariza will end up being. Wallace is also injury prone. We're trying to get a player thats going to get us over the hump. I think Lewis provided more of that than wallace does.

I definitley agree. Wallace is injury prone and doesnt possess the scoring and shooting ability we are looking for in a FA. The better choice here is Lewis, but if Lewis goes elsewhere then we wont have many options that will fit with this team. First thing on the list is dealing with Darko and then dealing with the roster - and any changes that go along with it. And i know for sure that right when July 1 hits we will be active but i dont expect a deal done any time soon. Otis isnt the type to throw just any amount of money at a guy - no matter if they are a star. It has to be the right fit.

Sorry. I meant to say he is not going to throw excess money at a guy hes not sure of. Dwight he is sure of because he sees and knows him. But who knows if Lewis will be the right fit for the team. Thats why Otis is more willing to spend the cap money on the guys that are already on the team.

Yeah he should definitely resign Darko as our #1 priority. Also, try to lure G.Wallace or Rashard with a sign-and-trade. We should retire Nick Anderson's jersey and maybe Scott Skiles. When will the Magic start doing stuff like that?

The Magic refuse to retire any jerseys, and it really ticks me off. Their idea of honoring former players is hanging banners with their picture on the concourse. They've "honored" Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Scott Skiles, and Jeff Turner in this way. If it were up to me, Anderson's #25 and Skiles' #4 would already be hanging in the rafters of the Amway Arena, and Darrell Armstrong's #10 would be ready to go up the second he hangs up his sneakers for good.
