We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Charlotte Bobcats general manager Michael Jordan wrote an appeal to season ticket-holders, promising, "It is our intention to spend what it takes to attract the 'right' talent to our team, whether through free-agent signings or trades." The Bobcats have the league's lowest payroll and sagging attendance.

There's speculation the Bobcats will pursue New Jersey Nets' forward Vince Carter, who played at North Carolina, and coach Larry Brown, another former Tar Heel. Current Bobcats' coach Bernie Bickerstaff was not mentioned anywhere in the letter.

Carter to the raptors sounds interesting. While Otis burns bridges with his words I guess we will see how well a revitalized team in our own division does.

Looks like our options are dwindling. Wouldn't it be better for Otis to just not say anything about potential free agents, instead of being openly critical of them?? It doesn't help us to say bad things about them, but it may come back around to hurt us.
